The Application form for MHT CET 2018 has been closed. The Admit Card for the same is going to be released soon. Applicants will be able to download the admit card from 24th April 2018 to 10th May 2018.

According to recent reports, so far 3,31,798 candidates have applied for MHT CET 2018. MHT CET stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. The exam is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. It is also known as Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test.MHT CET 2018 is going to be conducted on 10th May 2018 in pen and paper-based offline mode. Aspirants can fill up the online application form that was made available from 18th January 2018 until 25th March 2018. Applicants could fill and submit the application form with a late fee of Rs. 500/- from 26th – 31st March 2018.

To take MHT CET 2018 Entrance Exam, students have to compulsorily fill a Registration/Application Form. The Application form is an important part of the examination process.

Points that need to be kept in mind while filling up the Application Form:

  • MHT CET 2018 application forms have been made available online from 18th January 2018 on the official website –
  • Application form sent by post/courier will be rejected.
  • Candidates will first have to register at the official website and confirm it for further application form filling.
  • Candidates who fill the application form after the last date had to fill the form with a late fee of Rs 500/- from 26th March to 31st March 2018.
  • while filling up the application form, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their recent passport size photograph and signature.
  • After this, the candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 800 for general category candidates from Maharashtra, outside Maharashtra and J&K Migrants and Rs 600 for SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra.
  • The application fees can be paid by credit/ debit card, net banking, IMPS, cash card or mobile wallets.
  • No other mode of payment is applicable and the application fees are non- refundable.
  • Applicants will have to submit the application form and take a print out of the confirmation page.

How To Fill MH CET 2018 Application Form

All candidates must fill the MHT CET 2018 online application form by themselves and in the correct manner. Any mistake made by the candidate while filling up the form will not be rectified later.

Follow these easy 5 steps to fill MHT CET 2018 Application Form:

  1. Registration
    • Applicants will first have to register themselves by visiting the official website –
    • Click on “Apply Online” to fill in the details.
  2. Filling Up The Online Application Form
    • Now the candidate will have to enter his/her valid email id, mobile No. and a password for the first login.
    • Candidates must remember the entered password and the application number generated after the login to be able to view the admit card in future.
    • Now enter details relating to personal information and academics.
  3. Uploading The Scanned Images
    • Candidates will now have to upload a recent colour passport size photograph and signature.
    • The photograph has to taken against a light background. In case the photograph is not clear, the application is liable to be rejected.
    • The signature should be done by the candidate himself, in black ink.
    • The specifications of the images are strict to have adhered. The specifications are given below:

      Photograph 15 KB to 50 KB Jpg / jpeg
      Signature 5 KB to 50 KB Jpg / jpeg
    • After both the documents have been uploaded, payment of fees has to be made.
  4. Payment of Application Fees
    • Candidates have to make the fee payment online only through Internet payment, credit/debit card, Net banking, IMPS, Cash cards, mobile wallets for which services charges will be applicable.
      For General Category candidates from Maharashtra, outside Maharashtra and J&K Migrants Rs 800 + Payment gateway charges
      For SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra. Rs 600 + Payment gateway charges
  5. Printing the Confirmation Page
    • Once the application has been submitted and the fees paid, a confirmation page will be displayed on your screen.
    • Click on “Generate MHT-CET 2017 Registration Confirmation Page
    • The Confirmation page will be generated. Take a print out of the same.

The Online Registration for MHT CET 2018 had begun from 18th January 2018 to 25th March 2018. Candidates must make sure that they fill the application form correctly. In case they have made an error while providing the information in the form, they can rectify the same by making an appeal in writing to the competent authority MHT CET, Mumbai. Applicants will be able to download the admit card from 24th April 2018 to 10th May 2018. It is also mandatory to fill in the Aadhar card details to get the admit card.

At the final stages of the online submission of application, candidates will have a chance to change some information except changes in candidate’s name, father/ husband’s name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. They can do so by clicking on “Edit Profile” option.
