Kurukshetra University DDE Application Form
The Directorate of Distance Education offers online as well as offline application form filling facility.
Online Process:
For online admission, the candidates will have to visit the website.The candidates can submit Online application form on DDE website and online fee can be deposited on the DDE Website as well as Online Portal www.kuk.ac.in. It is necessary for all students seeking admission to submit the hard copy of the form along with documents within 15 days of their online admission. For this purpose, the date of deposit of fee will be counted as day one. In case of delay, the late fee as applicable at the time of submission of form/documents will be charged.
Offline Process:
The candidates have to download the prospectus from DDE website and all attached forms: Admission Form, Examination form and Computer forms. The candidates are required to fill the forms and send to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-136119(Haryana) alongwith all required documents and fee through Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

For General Category: Rs. 600/- at the KUK Counter, Rs. 650/- by Registered/Speed Post.
For SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana Only: Rs. 150/- at the KUK Counter, Rs. 200/- by Registered/Speed Post.
Instruction for the Application form filling
- Fill the name of the course for which seeking admission.
- Enter the details of the Demand Draft.
- Fill your name in BLOCK LETTERS.
- Give your Date of Birth, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Address.
- Enter valid contact number & Email address for future communication.
- Fill Education details of the qualifying examination.
- Paste recent passport size photograph and sign below your photograph in the given box.
Kurukshetra University DDE Admission Procedure
- The candidates are advised to fill the Admission Form, Examination Form and Computer Form attached with Prospectus and signed by the candidate and father/guardian shall be submitted alongwith other required documents at the time of admission.
- The admissions are to be made on the basis of Certificates issued by the recognized Board/University. No admission shall be made on the basis of the certificates issued by the Principal of a School/College/Institute.
- The candidates are advised to clearly mention the options for paper(s) in the Admission Form, Examination Form and Computer Form otherwise they will be liable to pay fees for change of option/subject.
- The Admission Form duly filled in, along with required documents, should be sent to the Director, Distance Education, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra – 136119 in an envelope through Speed Post mentioning the name of the Course with Part/Year of the course accompanied by the following enclosures:
- A self-attested photocopy of the Matriculation or equivalent certificate in support of date of birth (Not required, if already registered with this University) alongwith a copy of the certificate of the last examination passed.
- A self-attested photocopy of the certificate of the qualifying examination passed by the candidates. The candidates, who have passed the qualifying examinations in more than one Part, shall be required to send self-attested copies of Certificates/DMC/Degree of all the Parts.
- Original Migration Certificate OR an affidavit duly attested by the Notary Public (in the case of candidates coming from Universities or Boards other than Kurukshetra University or Board of School Education, Haryana).
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Blind Certificate, duly signed by the 1st Class Magistrate/SDM/CMO, in original along with an attested copy.
- A Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended or from a Gazetted Officer/Sarpanch.
- Six copies of the recent coloured photograph to be affixed on the space provided in the Admission Form and ONE EXTRA STAMP SIZE PHOTOGRAPH to be attached with Admission form.
- Identity Card duly completed and photo affixed thereon.
- Two self-addressed envelopes (Size 9″ X 4″)
SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana are required to submit the SC/BC//Blind Certificate or an additional amount of Rs.450/-/Rs.375/- on account of the difference of the cost of the Prospectus/Processing fee failing which it would be treated as non-payment of fee.
Rejection of Admission form of a candidate:
- Self Attested copies of certificate/ DMC of the qualifying examination are not sent with admission form.
- Original certificate of the qualifying examination is not produced in the Directorate on demand.
- The qualifying examination is not recognized by the Kurukshetra University.
- The Fee of 1st Installment is not remitted in full.
- Admission Form duly signed and affixed photograph has not been submitted with the original Admission Form or these are incomplete.
- Incomplete Form or the required documents are not attached or photographs not affixed.
- Names of Papers/Correct options are not filled up in the Admission Form.
Cancellation of Admission of a candidate:
- If a candidate is found medically unfit.
- If a candidate fails to produce Original Statement of marks/grade point average certificate of the last qualifying examination or the equivalent before the examination.
- If a candidate fails to obtain long term Student Visa in the name of the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra from the Indian Embassy in his/her country on the basis of the letter of provisional admission.
- If a candidate fails to fulfil any condition of eligibility for admission to the course.
