The official admission authority of JEXPO 2018 has released a notification related to declaration of JEXPO Result 2018. The JEXPO Result 2018 is going to be available on 1st June 2018. Link to check and download the same will be provided here once it gets available.

Step 1:- Click on the link “JEXPO Result 2018″ as this will redirect to the official website

Step 2:- Enter the enrollment number and name.

Step 3:- Click on the submit button.

Step 4:- After filling in the correct details, your result along with the scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5:- You can download the result along with the scorecard and take the printout of the same for the further use.

NOTE: The authority will not provide any facility for post-publication scrutiny or review and inspection. Candidates, those get zero marks either in “Physics” or “Mathematics” & “Chemistry” or did not give any of the two papers will not be listed in the merit list. JEXPO merit list 2018 will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the examination.

JEXPO 2018 Merit List

Based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam, the official authority will determine the minimum cut-off and prepare the merit list. The name of candidates appearing in this list will be eligible for counselling. The applicants who scored less than the cutoff marks will be disqualified to participate in the subsequent programmes.

This is for information of all concerned that Registration and Choice Filling under the Online
Counselling of the merit listed candidates of JEXPO for admission to the diploma courses of different Polytechnics in the State of West Bengal will start tentatively from 14th June 2018.

To help and guide the aspiring merit listed candidates, the Council has arranged Pre-counselling
program at five Government Polytechnics as per the following schedule:

In the said program, attending candidates will be informed about different aspects of online
counselling procedure, different steps to be followed during counselling, process of payment of
admission fee, seat booking fee, auto up-gradation etc. There will also be an interactive session
with the candidates where their queries will be met up by the Officials of the Council.
Willing merit listed candidates of JEXPO 2018 may join the program at any of the venues of their choice.
However, it is to be noted that joining the pre-counseling program by the candidates is not mandatory and all guidelines for the online counselling shall be available in the Council’s official websites.
Candidates must follow all forthcoming notifications in respect of online counselling in the aforementioned websites.

The process of counselling will commence tentatively in the month June 2018. The counselling schedule will be uploaded on the website. The reserved category candidates are required to produce the Caste Certificate in original issued by the competent authority of Government of West Bengal at the time of admission without which their claim for reserved seats will not be entertained. Candidate will have to take admission within the date mentioned in the allotment letter. Failure to take admission within the stipulated date will make the candidate ineligible for the offered seat and the vacant seat will be allotted to other eligible candidates.

The candidates will be allowed to make choice of colleges. After that, the official authority will allot the seats to the candidates based on the following factors

  • Marks obtained by the candidate
  • Seat intake in the respective colleges
  • Number of candidates cleared the cut-off marks
  • Stream opted by the candidates

If the shortlisted candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her, then they must lock the seat and report to the respective college with the following document for verification

  • Marksheet of the Qualifying Examination.
  • Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate).
  • Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC/ Minority candidates. (if applicable)
  • 4 recent colour passport size photograph.
  • Printout of JEXPO application form, admit card and result.
  • One set of Photocopies of all the above certificates.
