  1. JEE Advanced is going to take place on 3rd July 2021. The minimum eligibility criteria of 75% have been scrapped.

  3. As per JAB, IIT aspirants who missed their chance of JEE Advanced 2020 because of COVID will get a chance in JEE Advanced 2021. Thus 2020 candidates need not appear in JEE Main 2021. They can register for Advanced through their 2020 registration number.

Foreign Candidate Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2021

Candidates who are not Indian citizens (by birth or naturalized) and have studied (are studying) abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent level at the time of JEE Advanced Registration 2021, are treated as foreign nationals. Seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary with a cap of 10% of the total number of seats in every course.

Foreign nationals are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD (Persons with Disability) categories as mandated by Govt. of India.

These candidates can skip appearing for JEE Main 2021 and may directly register for JEE Advanced 2021 provided that they fulfill other eligibility criteria.
