JEE Advanced 2018 was conducted under the guidance of Joint Admission Board by IIT Kanpur. For the academic year 2018, the exam was conducted in computer-based online mode on May 20th, 2018 i.e Sunday. There were 2 papers in the examination and both were compulsory to attempt. Paper 1 was conducted in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 was be conducted in the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. This year, 2,24,000 candidates were able to sit for JEE Advanced.

After the exam had been conducted on May 20th, 2018, IIT Kanpur has released the Answer key for JEE Advanced 2018 on 29th May along with the Question Paper. Till the year 2017 the exam was conducted in offline mode and therefore the answer key was released by the exam conducting authority keeping in mind that the exam was conducted in the offline (pen and paper-based) mode. For 2018, the answer key was released on 29th May 2018.
With the help of an answer key, candidates can cross-check their responses marked and have an idea of the probable score that they will be obtaining in the exam. IIT Kanpur had also uploaded the OMR response sheets of the candidates on 25th May 2018 to the registered ID of the candidate. Candidates had to log in to their account to view the OMR sheets. Both the answer key and the OMR response sheet had been uploaded online only.

The ORS was made available online on 25th May 2018. Candidates can follow the steps given below to easily view the ORS.
- Click on the ORS link (the link has been provided above)
- Enter your JEE Advanced 2018 Registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address.
- Now, your ORS will be displayed on the screen.
Challenging JEE Advanced 2018 ORS
In case there is a discrepancy in the answers, candidates can ask for a review of the machine-read response. For this, they will have to submit their requests online. Request for review will cost the candidate Rs.500 for each question. Complete details regarding the mode of payment and the procedure to challenge/ request for a review will be provided here as soon as it is officially uploaded by the concerned authority.
