Admission into undergraduate B.Tech programme in the state Haryana is granted to the eligible candidates on the basis of JEE Main score and qualifying examination. Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) is responsible to organize and conduct the counselling for admission to the undergraduate B.Tech programme in the Institute of Haryana. No entrance exam is conducted for admission, candidates have to appear in JEE Main exam in order to get enrolled in the technical institute of state Haryana. Admission is also granted on the basis of qualifying examination score.

The interested candidates could apply for Haryana B.Tech Application Form 2018 in the online mode only. Application fee payment
The Haryana B.Tech Application Fee is different for different categories and information regarding the same has been provided below. Candidates can pay the fee in online (debit card/credit card/net banking) and offline mode (by downloading E-challan and paying at any designated bank branches of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank bank branch). The amount to be paid is same in both the modes.

Haryana B.Tech Cut-off 2018
The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that must be obtained by the applicants in order to get shortlisted for counselling and seat allotment process. This is the minimum marks required for admission to institute and course. It is determined by the official admission committee. A candidate who clears the cut-off mark is eligible to appear in the merit cum counselling list. Cut-off varies from institute to institute and course to course. Haryana B.Tech Merit List 2018
Haryana B. Tech Merit list for various categories had been released on the 14th June 2018. After receiving all the applications, the admission committee determines and prepares the merit list to shortlist the candidates. Merit list contains names of the candidate rank-wise who are eligible to participate in the counselling. Applicants who successfully manages to obtain the cut-off marks, only they secure a place in the merit list. Based on the merit list, shortlisted candidates shall be called for counselling.
Haryana B.Tech Counselling 2018
Haryana B.Tech counselling 2018 is being conducted by HSTES. There will be 2 rounds of online counselling. Candidates need to attend the counselling venue for document verification. Haryana B.Tech counselling 2018 follows a definite procedure which every candidate need to follow. The counselling procedure is provided below

The Haryana B.Tech 2018 counselling is not conducted in online mode after the second round of counselling and admissions will be made at institute level counselling by merging the sub-categories (including females) of a particular reserved category into the main reserved category.

The percentage will be calculated on the basis of scores of Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following subjects (whichever is highest): – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. Kashmiri Migrants will be required to produce their original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner. |
2. | Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST) category candidates will get seats in each branch in the Govt./ Aided/ University Department/ Private institutes offering B.Tech programmes on the basis of inter se merit of 10+2 of 2018 out of each topper (having minimum second division i.e. 50% marks in aggregate) of Govt. Senior Secondary School offering Science Stream (having minimum 5 students on roll in the Science stream), subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The candidates will have to produce a certificate in support of their claim from the Principal/ Headmaster of the Govt. School of which the candidate has topped. |
3. | Tuition Fee Waiver category candidates for B.Tech will also get supernumerary seats. Haryana B.Tech 2018 admission under AICTE Scheme of Tuition Fee Waiver is meant for economically weaker students. These seats will be filled for all institutions approved by the council, on the basis of JEE Main 2018 counselling. |
Haryana B.Tech Admission 2018 Seat Reservation
A certain percentage of the seat is reserved for reserved category candidates. Names of the categories are provided in the “distribution of seats” section. Candidates must have a valid certificate/ documents in support of their claiming category. Candidates must select their category carefully during application form filling. Certificate in the prescribed format (available in the official brochure) should produce/ submit at the time of document verification.
Haryana B.Tech Participating Institutes 2018
There are many governments/ semi-government/ Private institute located in the state Haryana which offers various course in B.Tech Programme. Counselling fee of Rs.500 (applicable to all categories) will have to paid by the candidates at counselling venue. Candidates can choose the colleges according to their preference but any one of them will be allotted by the official admission authority based on the following conditions
