The GUJCET application form 2019 was released on 25th Jan 2019. The exam was conducted on 26 April 2019. GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. GCET is a state level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate courses like engineering, technology, and pharmacy. The GUJCET is conducted every year by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) or GSEB.

Eligibility Criteria of GUJCET 2019
In order to be eligible for admissions through GUJCET 2019, all candidates must make sure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as laid down by the exam conducting authorities. GSEB has laid down the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2019 based on certain parameters like age, domicile, nationality, educational qualification, etc. Prior to filling up the GUJCET application form, aspirants must make sure that they have read all the GUJCET 2019 eligibility criteria as listed below:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must be bonafide of Gujarat. However, if the candidate is bonafide of Gujarat but is residing in other states, he/she will also be eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have also qualified class 10+2 from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
- Those candidates who are going to give their boards in the year 2019 are also eligible to apply.
- General category Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in qualifying marks. However, the reserved category candidates must have scored at least 40% marks in qualifying marks.
GUJCET 2019 Exam Centers
The GUJCET 2019 exam centers are the venues where the candidate will be taking the examination. There are at least 34 GUJCET exam centers and candidates can make a choice of where to take the exam during application form filling. GUJCET 2019 Application Form
The first step to take the GUJCET entrance exam of 2019 is to fill the application form released for each candidate on the official website. The GUJCET Application form of 2019 has been made available in the online mode from the 25th January till 8th February 2019. In order to fill the application form of GUJCET, candidates will be required to first pay the application fee after which he/she will be given a user ID. Using the User ID candidates will be required to register themselves and fill up the application form. The application of GUJCET 2019 has to be submitted online only before the last date prescribed. Applicants must provide only the relevant and valid information in the application form. The details provided by the candidate will be verified at different stages of the application procedure, therefore candidates must only enter correct information to avoid rejection of application.
GUJCET 2019 Exam Pattern
Appearing candidates must check the exam pattern as the first step to preparation. The exam pattern usually includes information about the exam like the mode and duration of the exam and other details about the question paper like number of questions, the language of the question paper, name of sections, the marking scheme etc. The GUJCET 2019 exam pattern has been given for you in the points below.
- GUJCET 2019 will be conducted in the offline mode i.e in pen and paper based mode.
- The exam will be held for a duration of three hours i.e 180 minutes.
- Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The language of the question paper will be English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- There will be a total of 120 questions, 40 from each subject.
- The GUJCET question paper will have objective type of questions.
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

GUJCET 2019 Hall Ticket
The GUJCET 2019 admit card/ hall ticket has been released in the online as well as offline mode on 16th April 2019. All candidates who have successfully registered are issued with the admit card of GUJCET online on the official website. However, the admit card/ hall ticket can also be obtained offline through post. The admit card is one of the most important document that the candidate must carry to the examination center on the day of the exam. The GUJCET 2019 admit card will carry important information on it like the name and photograph of the candidate, the application number, exam center name and address, the exam date and timings, etc. No candidate will be allowed to take the GUJCET 2019 without the hall ticket. The admit card must be preserved till the entire GUJCET admission 2019 is over.
GUJCET 2019 Answer Key
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) or GSEB has uploaded the GUJCET 2019 answer key. The final answer key has been released on 3rd May 2019. With the help of GUJCET answer key, candidates will be able to cross check their answers with the answer keys released. The candidates can use the answer key to calculate their probable score of GUJCET 2019 before the final result is announced. This will also help the candidate predict which college he/she will be getting admission in. Earlier, the unofficial answer key of GUJCET 2019 has been released by coaching institutes. However, candidates must rely only on the official GUJCET answer key.
GUJCET 2019 cut-off
The concerned authorities will also release the GUJCET 2019 cut-off. The cut-off is the minimum marks that the candidate must have scored in order to become eligible for admission procedure. The cut-off will be released for admission to the participating institutes. The cut-off will be prepared considering the previous year cut-off trends, the number of seats available, and the performance of candidates in GUJCET 2019.
GUJCET 2019 Result
The result of GUJCET has announced officially on the website of GSEB on 9th May 2019. GUJCET Result has been declared for all the candidates who have taken the examination. The GUJCET 2019 result has been released in the online mode only. Candidates will be required to fill in his/her application number to view the Results. The merit list will be prepared based on 60% weightage of percentile marks secured in the theory exam of class 12th and 40% weightage of percentile marks get in GUJCET exam.
GUJCET Counselling and Seat allotment 2019
The counselling of GUJCET was conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. The GUJCET 2019 counselling was conducted in online mode and before appearing for the GUJCET counselling, the eligible candidates will have to[pay Rs.350 and get Information booklet and PIN from any of the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The 14 digit pin will be of utmost importance for the conselling registration. Candidates will be required to fill the online application form and fill the required details. Candidates have to take a print of the form and submit the same. After submission, the candidate will be required to fill in the choice of his/her college and course according to his preference.
Allotment of seats will be done according to the choices filled by the candidate. The candidate will be required to pay the tuition fee of the college as acceptance of allotted seat. Candidates must finally report to the allotted college and complete other admission formalities.
