GOKDOM Scholarship 2025: The Karnataka Directorate of Minorities (ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯ) grants Pre and Post Matric Scholarship to the candidates of Karnataka. The GOKDOM Scholarship approach was taken to encourage the candidates belonging to the Backward Classes. It especially tried to focus on the minority classes of Karnataka namely Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Parsis.

The GOKDOM Scholarship vision is to give the backward class candidates a better standard of living in the fields like Socio-Economic, Education, etc. The directorate of minorities trying to take a step to help the less privileged women and children by introducing Educational Concessions, providing training and employment opportunity. GOKDOM Pre Matric & Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

It will be important for the candidates that they must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authorities of GOKDOM. The eligibility criteria will be explained in detail in the Information Brochure. The candidate must go through the Information Brochure very carefully before proceeding for the Application Form. The applicants who will be found not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will not be able to proceed with the registration and will not be eligible to apply for the Scholarship programme.

Eligibility Criteria For GOKDOM Pre Matric Scholarship Candidates 2025

• The students should score a minimum of 50% in their last qualifying Annual examination. The GOKDOM Scholarship will not be Applicable to the Class 1 students
• The total income in a year of the candidate’s parents should be less than 1 lakh.
• Students from other states studying in Karnataka will not be able to apply for the GOKDOM Scholarship.
• Candidates who belong to the Karnataka state but studies in other states are eligible to apply for it.
• The Aadhaar Card is compulsory.

Eligibility Criteria for GOKDOM Scholarship Post-Matric  Candidates

• The students should score a minimum of 50% in their last qualifying semester or in the previous year course.
• The total family income should be less than 2 Lakhs per Annum.
• Correspondence course or other certificate courses or training pursuing candidates will not be eligible to apply for the GOKDOM Scholarship.
• Students from other states studying in Karnataka will not be able to apply for the GOKDOM Scholarship.
• Candidates who belong to the Karnataka state but studies in other states are eligible to apply for it.

GOKDOM Scholarship Pre Matric Application form 2025

Candidates have to apply online for the GOKDOM Scholarship. They have to visit the official Website to Apply. The Link to the official website is gokdom.kar.nic.in.

The steps, that are to be followed in order to apply for the scholarship are:

Registration

• Click on the link of the GOKDOM Scholarship application form provided in this article.
• If you are a newbie to the website, click on New User.
• A screen will reflect containing all the mandatory details regarding the registration. Read all the details carefully and click on the undertaking.
• Click on Continue.
• The GOKDOM Scholarship registration section will open. Enter all the details carefully and make sure that the same is correct. The details, which are to be filled in the registration form are:

1. State of Domicile
2. Scholarship Category
3. Name of the student
4. Scheme type
5. Date of Birth
6. Gender of the applicant
7. Mobile Number
8. E-mail ID
9. IFSC Code of the bank
10. Bank Account Number
11. Name of the bank
12. Identification Detail
13. Captcha Code

• After entering all the details, click on Register.
• The registration ID of the candidate will be displayed. Note the same and click on Continue. You will be taken to a log in page.
• The login id and password to log into NSP Portal will be your Application Id and DOB respectively.
• After this, the candidate will receive a 5-digit OTP on his/ her registered mobile number.
• Confirm OTP will take you to Change Password Page and Change your password as per instruction on the same page.
• Click on Apply.

Credentials Required

• Enter all the mandatory details in the form. The details, which are to be entered are:

1. Registration Details
2. Academic Details
3. Basic Details

• Post entering all the details, click on Save and Continue.
• A window will be displayed asking for your Contact details and scheme details.
• Based on the eligibility criteria of the student, schemes will be displayed. Select “Pre-Matric Scholarship Schemes Minorities CS” for pre-matric courses.
• Then, select “Post Matric Scholarship Schemes Minorities CS” for post-matric courses.
• Select “Merit Cum Means Scholarship Schemes Minorities CS” for Merit Cum Means courses (Including Listed Institutes).
• Post selecting the scheme, in the same page an Upload Document section will be displayed – upload your documents therein (MCM / Top Class Students only). Upload of documents is not required for GOKDOM Pre Matric & Post Matric Scholarship
• Re-check all the details that you have entered as you will not be able to change the same afterward.
• Click on Final Submit and take a printout of the application form for further acknowledgment.

Documents Needed for GOKDOM Scholarship 2025

• Select the Search Type – School DISE Wise or District Wise or Student ID or Student Name
• Select the Year
• Enter the student name
• Click on the Search Button.

GOKDOM Post Matric Scholarship Application Form 2025

1. The candidates have to apply online so they are advised to visit the official website of the Karnataka Directorate of Minorities.
2. There on the Website, the candidates have to register as a New User.
3. After reading all the guidelines the candidates need to click on the “Continue” button and the candidates will be redirected to a new page.
4. Candidates have to fill up the GOKDOM Scholarship Registration Form with the Personal Details required.
5. Check the Aadhar Consent and click on the Register Button. Student registration ID will be displayed which they need to keep it safe. Clicking on the continue button the candidates will be redirected to the Login Page. After logging it the candidates will be generated 5 digit OTP to their registered Mobile Number. After verifying the OTP the candidates will be directed to the Home Page.
6. Click on the GOKDOM Scholarship Application Form and fill up with all the required details like Academic details, Personal details, and Basic Details
7. After entering the details which are true, candidates need to save and continue and switch to the next page.
8. Applicants will step into a new page for Contact details and Scheme details.
9. Candidates need to enter the contact details. Select “POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES MINORITIES CS”
10. Carefully upload all the required documents on the Website.
11. After carefully checking all the details the candidates need to submit the form. It is advisable to take out printouts of the GOKDOM Scholarship Application Form for future reference.

GOKDOM Scholarship Renewal Procedure 2025

1. Visit the official website of the Karnataka Directorate of Minorities.
2. Click on the “Apply for Renewal Button”
3. Log in using the last year’s Registration Id and the Date of Birth.
4. After logging in it will redirect to the Students Log in Home Page.
5. Click on the pre-filled information button and check last years details.
6. Go to Apply and Renewal button and enter renewal details.
7. After the Final Submit. Take a print by Clicking print Button for reference and as an Acknowledgement.

Check GOKDOM Post-Matric Application Status 2025

Post Matric scholarship is awarded to candidates from candidates belonging to the Minority community from Class XI to PhD.

• Enter the Candidate’s Registration Id.
• Enter the date of Birth.
• Candidates then have to enter Security Code.
• Click on the Search Button.
