The University of Calicut, Directorate of Admissions
The Directorate of Admission (DoA) conducts the Calicut University Admission Process. Therefore, the applicants who want to pursue any degree must visit the official website to download the Brochure 2025. The main objective of DoA is to conduct centralized admissions to various courses offered by the University and its affiliated Colleges in a systematic, transparent and student-friendly manner, following all reservation rules of the Kerala Government. Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for undergraduate programs offers the facility for the students to submit a single online application for admission to various degree programs in multiple colleges (20 nos) of their choice, affiliated to the University. This hasslefree process is time-saving, cost-effective and ensure transparency in admission.
Calicut University Admission Courses
The Admission in Calicut University will be provided under the fields of Humanities & Social Sciences, Science, Accounting and Commerce, Business and Management Studies, Medicine and Health Sciences, Mass Communication and Media, IT and Software, Fine arts, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Hospitality and Travel, Teaching and Education, Engineering and Nursing. The candidates can also pursue diploma and certificate programs at Calicut University. In order to apply online, the candidates must fill the Calicut University application form which will not be accepted without the application fee. The fee will be paid through the online mode only. Post the filling of the application form, one should be aware of the important dates related to the admission in Calicut University in the aspired course. Calicut University Admission Criteria 2025
The eligibility criteria is a minimum qualification requirement which is needed in order to get admission in any course. Calicut University has also set a bar which is to be satisfied by the candidate. In case if one does not possess enough eligibility as per the required ones, then he/she will not be able to fill the application form. The admissions are conducted to the merit seats in the programmes/courses in Arts and Science colleges affiliated to the University of Calicut (including 50% of seats set apart for Merit Admission in the Self Financing colleges and Self Financing programmes/courses in Aided colleges) excluding the admissions to the programmes mentioned below:

Calicut University Admission Form 2025
The Application Form will be released in the month of April 2025 on the official website. In order to be aware of the dates regarding the dates of the release of the application form, one should keep visiting the official website of the university. Pre-filling the application form, the candidates should run an eye on the eligibility criteria. The candidate holding enough eligibility for the aspired course only will be able to fill the application form. In order to fill the application form, one will have to visit the official website of Calicut University. Post that, one has to click on the given link of the application form following by hitting on the portal of the course one aspires to apply for. Then one needs to fill in the details.
One needs to make sure that he/she is providing the correct particulars because providing in any inaccurate details will create problems for the candidate in the admission procedure. If the admission procedure is successfully done, then all the incorrect details will be there in the documents of the candidate throughout the time one pursues his/her aspired course. While providing in the contact details (phone number, e-mail id, etc) in the application form, one should fill in the correct details, which should be of the candidate itself. In case if the candidate does not have his/her personal mobile number, then the contact details of one’s parents should be provided. While submitting the documents, i.e., scanned a photograph, one should make sure that the same should be of the specifications as per decided by the university. The specifications, for uploading the documents should be between 20kb and 40kb and width-150px height-200px. Only the files of the JPEG format will be submitted.
The candidates have to print the hard copy of the application form along with the e-challan receipts and the copies of self-attested certificates for the proof. The application forms will be taken and submitted to the Head of the Department/Coordinator/Director. One should do all these procedures as soon as possible so that the application form reaches the address of the submission before the due date.
Application Fee for Admission in Calicut University 2025
The application forms will be accepted after the payment of the application fee. The fee will be paid from the online mode only. Calicut University Admit Card 2025
The admit card has been made available only for those courses which require an entrance test. One can download the admit card from the official website of Calicut University. One can access the admit card from www.cuonline.ac.in. As soon as the university will release the admit card, the link of the same will be mentioned here. Post downloading the admit card, one has to make sure that the details provided in the same are valid and correct. In case if one finds any flaws, he/she must immediately approach the controller of the examination. The candidate can note the point that the admit card will be available in an online mode only. No candidate will be able to receive the hall ticket offline. The admit card will have to be carried by the candidate to the examination centers. One failing in doing so will not be allowed to sit in the examination.

The results of Calicut University has been declared on its official website. The candidates can grab the results in the online mode only. No candidate will be able to receive the results offline. Calicut University Counselling 2025
The counseling session at Calicut University has already been started. The candidates, who have qualified the examination will have to attend the counseling session. If he/ she turns unable to attend the session of Counseling will not be able to take admission into the university. The first allotment process will take place on the scheduled date. The candidates have to remit the fee in order to claim their allotment. The candidates, who do not pay the fee will lose the received allotment and therefore will not be considered for further allotments. One, satisfied with his/her allotment have to cancel his/her other preferences. The candidate, who has not done the same will be considered for higher preferences, and therefore, one will have to take admission according to his/her higher options.
Second Allotment Process:
The second allotment process will take place on the decided date. The candidate, who has received their allotment for the first time have to remit their fee. One, who has already remitted their fee shall not do the same again. The further process of the admission will be as same as the first one.
Third Allotment Process:
The third allotment process will take place on the decided date. The candidate, who has received their allotment for the first time have to remit their fee. One, who has already remitted their fee in the first/second allotment shall not do the same again. The further process of the admission will be as same as the first/second one.
Fourth Allotment Process:
The fourth allotment process will take place on the scheduled date. The candidate, who has received their allotment for the first time have to remit their fee. One, who has already remitted their fee in the first/second/third allotment shall not do the same again. The further process of the admission will be as same as the first/second/third one. The candidates, who fail to remit the fee shall not be considered for further admission.
Fifth Allotment Process:
The fifth allotment process will take place only if the seats are still vacant. The process of the allotment of the fee will be the same as the first/second/third/fourth one.
