AUMAT stands for Alliance University Management Aptitude Test. It is an undergraduate level examination conducted by the Alliance University, Bangalore. AUMAT is a university level examination conducted for all those candidates who wish to seek admission in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course offered at the institute.  Aspiring students who wish to seek admission in BBA course offered at this University have to compulsorily take this examination. Based on the score of AUMAT, candidates will be called for a personal Interview and will be given admission in the said course and University. The admission to Alliance University is purely based on merit. BBA in Alliance University will be provided in specializations like Marketing management, financial management, international business management, and human resource management.

Eligibility Criteria of AUMAT 2018

Prior to filling up the application form, candidates must make sure that they possess all the eligibility criteria as laid down by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria for AUMAT 2018 will  be based on the qualifying examination. In case ineligible candidates apply for the aptitude test, their candidature will be held rejected during verification. Check the eligibility criteria of AUMAT below:

  • Candidates should have completed Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 Examinations or equivalent from a recognized board/ council in any discipline.

AUMAT 2018 Application Form

The AUMAT 2018 Application form has been made available on the official website  from 1st February 2018. the last date to apply for the same is 31st March 2018.

Candidates can fill the application online by by clicking on the Apply now button. For online mode candidates are required to keep the scanned image of 10th Mark sheet, Passport size photograph, ID Proof like PAN card/Aadhar card/Passport/College ID ready with them. The applicant will also be required to pay an application fee either in the online mode through credit, debit card , net banking or in the form of a demand draft drawn in the favor of “Alliance School of Business” payable at Bengaluru.

The AUMAT 2018 application form can also be obtained in the offline mode from office of admission on payment of the application fee of Rs. 1000/- in cash or in form of demand draft. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website and sent along with the required documents to Office of Admissions, Alliance School of Business, Alliance University Chikkahagade Cross, Chandapura-Anekal Main Road Anekal, Bengaluru – 562106, Karnataka, India. The documents to be attached along with the application form of BBA are 10th and 12th standard mark sheets.

Exam pattern of AUMAT 2018

To start off with the preparation for the aptitude test, candidates must first make sure that they know the exam pattern of AUMAT clearly. The exam pattern usually includes information about the question paper, duration, the mode of the exam, etc. Check out the AUMAT 2018 exam pattern given below:

  • AUMAT 2018 will be held for 60 minutes or 1 hour.
  • Candidates will be required to attempt multiple type questions.
  • Questions will be asked from Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge, General English and Comprehension.
  • There will be total 45 questions, 10 from each section except for comprehension which will carry 5 questions.
  • The paper will be of 50 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Admission Procedure of AUMAT 2018

The candidates who have taken the AUMAT 2018 will be able to view their results online. The authorities will prepare a merit list of shortlisted candidates according to the marks scored in the entrance test. The performance of the candidate will determine whether he/she will be called for the interview round. Further the candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the interview round. Selected candidates will be required to submit registration fee Rs 25000 in the form of demand draft made in favor of Alliance University- School of Business payable at Bangalore.
