Merit list contains the name the candidates who have qualified the exam and eligible for Assam CEE Counselling. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, seat availability, choice of college and stream etc. The candidate has to fill up the Assam CEE counselling application form (B) in order to sit for the counselling round and will be called to various CEE Counselling centres according to names in the merit list.
Assam CEE Counselling Dates 2018
Directorate of Technical Education, Assam will release the official notification of Assam CEE 2018 in the month of April 2018. Online registration and filling up of application form will start tentatively from 3rd week of April 2018. Interested candidates will have to fill and submit the application form tentatively by 1st week of May 2018.

Assam CEE Counselling Procedure 2018
Candidates have to download the Assam CEE 2018 counselling application form (B) from the Assam CEE official website and have to take the print out of the same. Applicant has to fill up the form in their own handwriting and indicate choice of courses, college and provide general information.
Documents Required for Assam CEE Counselling 2018
Candidates need to carry the filled up Form (B) to the counselling venue on the Assam CEE Counselling Date provided by the examination authority.
Following Certificates and Documents are required at the time of Assam CEE Counselling:
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) (to be issued by D.C./S.D.O.(Civil) of concerning District/Sub-Division)
- The Caste/Category Certificate (if Applicable)
- Assam CEE admit card 2018
- Class 10 admit card and mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet and admit card
- Academic Gap Certificate (if applicable)
- Character Certificate from Head of the Institution last attended.
- 4 (four) copies of recent passport-size photograph.
Candidates must fill and submit the Assam CEE counselling Form (B) 2018 along with the documents specified to Assam Engineering College, Jalukbari, Guwahati on a particular date. Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly to know the Assam CEE Counselling Schedule. A spot round of Assam CEE 2018 counselling will take place tentatively in 2nd week of August onwards to fill vacant seats left after Round II of counselling.
Seat Allotment of Assam CEE 2018
Seat Allotment for Assam CEE 2018 will be done on the basis of the merit rank, choice of course & college and the seat availability. Candidates must submit the specified documents for verification of their eligibility and complete the admission formalities if they are allotted a seat. After the verification of documents, candidates have to face an interview before the allotment is announced. After seat allotment is announced, candidates must report at allotted institute and complete the admission formalities by paying the requisite fees which would mean that they have accepted the seat allotted to them.
