Thus program offered by the Univerity for the session 2020 are Fashion & Textile Design, Interior & Product Design (B.Des), Integrated program (B.Des+MBA). In order to appear in the VGU DECODE 2020, candidates need to fill the application mode available in an online mode on the official site. A total of 2 papers are taken into account for the entrance exam. Paper 1 is Aptitude Test & Paper 2 is Creativity Test. The exam duration of both the paper differs. Visualisation and Spatial Ability | Spatial visualisation ability or visual-spatial ability is the ability to mentally manipulate 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional figures. It is to assess your ability to think spatially and mentally manipulate images, and perceive patterns between them. It is typically measured with simple cognitive tests and is predictive of user performance with some kinds of user interfaces. |
Ecological and Public Awareness | General awareness of environmental factors such as climate, population, water, vegetation, pollution, weather, natural resources etc., and their implications on the design of products, images, infrastructure and environment. Awareness of social and cultural connection with design, history of the designed artefact, and socially responsible and environmentally sustainable design responses. History of art, sculpture and literature. |
Analytical and Logical Reasoning | The logical reasoning, also known as critical thinking or analytic reasoning, involves one’s ability to isolate and identify the various components of any given argument.
