The Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) a constituent directorate of the Utkal University has the following objective:

The Application form for admission will be available by the University. Candidates will be required to fill up the Application Form in completion providing all the required details in the form.

Eligibility Criteria for Utkal University Admissions
The candidates seeking admission may check their eligibility criteria from the table given below.

OR
Those Graduate who do not fulfill the conditions as above (i.e either A or B ) can be admitted but they are required to pass two additional mathematics papers along with first semester and/or second semester. Unless they clear the mathematics papers they cannot be admitted to the 3 rd Semester . Such candidates are eligible for 3 year course. The first and second semesters shall be waived for all those who have passed BCA / B. Sc. ( Comp. Sc ( H ) ) / B. Sc ( IT ) / B. Sc ( ITM ) i.e. conditions under B . They shall be directly admitted into third semester. SELECTION THROUGH ENTRANCE TEST AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW. |
Utkal University Admission Procedure
For admission, candidates have to fill the application form which shall be available on the university website. The DDCE follows first come first serve principle, so candidates are advised to submit the application form as soon as possible.
There will be Online Admission Test for Management Program and MCA Program and it will follow the Rolling system. Candidates have to appear Online Test at DDCE on any working day. Those who secure qualifying marks can take admission immediately. Conduct of online admission Test is always is subject to availability of seats.

Candidates Selection Process for Admission
The selection of the candidates will be done according to the points given below:
- There will be Online admission Test at DDCE for Business Management and Computer Science Programme.
- Personal interview (in addition to on Line Test) shall be conducted for MBA Evening, P.G Diploma in Banking and Insurance Management and MCA course.
- Online Test shall consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions covering Reasoning Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques and English Language.
- The Rolling online Test shall be conducted subject to the availability of seats.
- For B.A/B.Com and M.A courses the selection process is First to come first serve.
- There is a provision of reservation according to which 22.50% of seats shall be reserved for Scheduled Tribe Students & 16.25% of seats shall be reserved for Scheduled Caste students.
Documents Required for Admission
The candidates should note that the following documents are required at the time of admission:
- A set of self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates from 10th class onwards along with originals are required for verification.
- Original C.L.C. and Migration Certificate (for the Candidates from other than Utkal University).
- Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Each candidate is required to carry a photo identity proof ( Adhar Card/Driving license / Pan Card / Voter’s I Card or Identity card issued by the employer / educational institute etc.) for the online test for Management and Computer Science Programme.
Utkal University Result
The result will be published on the same day. The candidates have to visit university website: http://www.ddceutkal.ac.in. The candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check their marks and rank secured by them. No other communication shall be sent to the candidates.
