IIIT Nagpur Cutoff: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur abbreviated as  IIIT Nagpur or IIITN was established in the year 2016 and is situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) approved IIIT Nagpur in May 2015. The academic session commenced in a temporary campus at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s Regional Telecom Training Centre from July 2016.

The institute is being set up based on Public-Private Partnership (PPP model) by the following :

• Ministry of Human Resource Development (50%)
• The Government of Maharashtra (35%)
• Industry Partners: Tata Consultancy Services and ADCC Infocad

IIITN is declared as an Institute of National Importance and is mentored by the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT). The institute admits candidates in 2 disciplines of B.Tech course and they are Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). There are a total of 210 seats out of which 120 seats are available under CSE and 90 seats are available under ECE which are allotted to aspirants for admission. Only those applicants who satisfy the IIIT Nagpur Cutoff are admitted into the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur.

Candidates who fulfill any of the following modes of admission are given admission in IIIT Nagpur:

• The candidate who desires admission must have appeared in JEE Main exam and he/she must have secured a valid rank
• Candidates belonging to the General category must have obtained 75% in class 12th while candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category must have obtained 65%
• The candidate must be among the top 20 percentiles of class 12th board exams
