JCECE Result 2018: JCECE Results for engineering courses have been announced on 18th June 2018 by Jharkhand Board. All the candidates who have taken the entrance exam will be able to check the JCECE 2018 Results in the online mode on the official website of JCECEB Board. The JEECE Results will be displayed in the form of a scorecard. The JCECE Results 2018 will state the qualifying status the candidates. Every candidate will have to log in to his/her account by entering the JCECE 2018 roll number and password/date of birth, to view their result. Check Eligibility For JCECE Exam
After the release of JCECE results, the candidates can also download the scanned OMR sheets that will contain all the responses of the candidates. The JCECEB 2018 result will determine whether a candidate has qualified for counselling and seat allotment procedure or not. The JCECE Board is responsible for preparing the merit list of the candidates who have qualified the Jharkhand JCECE Entrance Exam. JCECE Result 2018
JCECE 2018 was conducted on 23rd May 2018. Last year out of around 18,332 registered candidates, only 16,665 candidates appeared in the entrance examination.

Applicants can check their results from the official website of the JEECE board. The JCEEC Result will contain the marks scored in each subject, total marks obtained, qualifying status and ranks secured by the applicants in the exam. The Jharkhand Education board will prepare the combined and category-wise merit list on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate. Performance of the candidates in the JCECE 2018 Entrance Exam will assure their name on the interview. The JCECE Board will not send the hard copy of scorecard to the applicants.

- Click on the Notification of JCECE 2018 Result link.
- Enter JEECE 2018 roll number or application number
- JEECE 2018 Result will appear on the screen.
- Download the Result and take a print out of the same.

JCECE 2018 Result: Merit List
JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) will be releasing two merit list after the declaration of JCECE Results. The JCECE Merit list will consist of names of the applicants who are selected for seat allotment. Jharkhand Board will release two merit lists out of which one will be a combined merit-list and the other will be a category-wise merit list. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the JCECE 2018 Entrance Exam.
In case two candidates obtain the same score, a tie-breaking policy will be adopted.
JCECE Board Tie-breaking Guidelines
- Applicants who have scored higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher.
- In case if both the candidates have equal marks in Mathematics then the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
- If the tie still remains, then the older candidate will be given preference, in the case when marks of physics and math are equivalent.
- Lastly, the tie will be broken according to the alphabet of the name.
Candidates must check all the details related to exam results properly. Along with the results, the candidates will also be able to download the scanned OMR sheet that will have the answers of each candidate.
JCECE Counselling 2018
Counselling process will begin after the Jharkhand Board releases the JCECE Exam Results. Only the candidates who have qualified the JCECE 2018 Exam will be able to participate in the JCECE Board Counselling. Qualified candidates should be available in person along with original documents on the day of counselling for the document verification procedure. Candidates will be allotted a seat in the respective colleges and institutions according to their rank in Merit List. Applicants first need to register themselves for the counselling process and have to pay the fee to confirm registration. There will 2 rounds taking place in the JCECE Counselling. On the basis of choice filled by the candidates, the seats will be allotted.
Documents Required For JCECE Counselling:
The candidate needs to be present with below listed documents at the time of counselling. These include-
- Class X Marksheet with Admit card and passing certificate
- Class XII Marksheet with Admit card and passing certificate
- JCECE Admit Card 2018.

JCECE 2018 Result: Cut off
Minimum marks required to qualify for JCECE 2018 Entrance Exam will be set by the JCECEB and those marks are called as cut off. After the release of the JCECE 2018 Results, the Jharkhand Board will release the cut off for that year’s admission. The important points regarding Jharkhand Board Engineering cutoffs are given below.
- Cutoff score is the minimum score that the candidate needs to score in the examination failing which he will be denied admission.
- The Jharkhand board will send a confirmation mail to the qualified candidates who have scored above the cutoff, for counselling.
- The JCECE 2018 Counselling will be held in the month of July 2018 and will be held in multiple rounds. Candidates need to be present in person at the time of counselling.
