Indian Oil Merit Scholarships Scheme for 10+/ITI Studies:

The scholarship is provided to the candidates who are pursuing the defined educational criteria. The Applicants will have to fill up the Application form and submit it before the due date. The Scholarship is distributed among the students state-wise and is based on the number of students who appeared for the 10th exam in the last session. Eligibility for 10+/ ITI Scholarship

• Fo10+:  For this Scholarship, the Bonafide students (full time/Regular) in an 11th standard/1st year of Intermediate course or an equivalent course are eligible to apply.
• For ITI: For this Scholarship, Bonafide students (full time/Regular) in 1st year of 2 years ITI course will be eligible to apply.

Indian Oil Scholarships Scheme for Graduate and Post Graduate Studies

 IOCL Scholarship Eligibility For Engineering, MBBS and MBA courses

• Engineering &MBBS Course: Bonafide Students pursuing (regular/Full Time) engineering and Medical courses are eligible to apply. Applicant must be enrolled in the first year of these courses (minimum duration of 4 years) to be eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
• MBA Course: Those pursuing an MBA course must make sure that they fulfil the prescribed eligibility course as mentioned in the guidelines. Candidates pursuing an MBA course and enrolled in the first year of these 2 year will be eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

Selection Procedure

The candidates applying for the Scholarship will be required to provide the Stream and the course which they are pursuing currently and are enrolled in a recognized institute. The marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration by the selection committee for granting the Scholarship. The marks obtained by the candidate in order to acquire admission to the first year of the course currently pursuing. The percentage of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination will be calculated on the total aggregate marks of all the subjects for all the academic years of Graduation. Normalization procedure will be adopted so as to rationalize the variation of the marks provided by different Board and Universities.

Income

The gross income of the family of the candidates who applied for the Scholarship programme should not exceed from Rs. 1,00,000. The income certificate has to be issued from appropriate civil authorities of State/UT’s/Central Governments whose details will be specified in the guidelines which will be issued by the authorities. Any affidavit provided as an income proof will not be accepted and will not be considered valid.

Age Limit of the Candidate

As per the guidelines, the definite Age Limit has been defined for the candidates who will be applying for the scholarship. The age must be a minimum of 15 years and maximum of 30 years. The consideration for the age limit will be as per the category from which the candidate belongs.

Reservation

49.5% of Scholarships will be for the candidates from the reserved categories. Only those listed in the Central Governments OBC list will be considered against OBC Category. OBC candidates under the state list but not mentioned in the Central Government list will have to apply against the General category. Reservation for the Girl Students and the person with Disability will also be provided under the IndianOil Scholarship Programme.

Bonus Prize

Those candidates who will be able to acquire a Top 10 in 10 and Top 3 in Graduate-Post Graduate course in the Merit List will get a lump sum bonus prize of 10,000 Rs.
