The Andhra Pradesh University organises the AP PGECET and this Year the Examination will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The students who are interested to apply for the postgraduate courses shall have to apply through the online process. There is no offline process for the application of AP PGECET forms. The candidate who will qualify the entrance test is eligible to take admissions for M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharmacy.

Candidates can check the results in the online portal of AP PGECET 2019 on 14th May 2019. The scorecard will be also be announced in the online mode. Candidates have to at least score positive marks to go for the counselling and the Admission Process. The candidate first has to go through a login process only when they will be able to access the result login page. If in case any candidate has been terminated for violating any laws or guidelines, he/she will be debarred from the examination and in that case, he will not be able to check his results. This case is even applicable to the students who are terminated for not bringing the Hall ticket in the Examination. The candidates who are GATE qualified do not have to sit for the Examination. New- The Result of AP PGECET 2019 is announced on 14th May 2019. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result and download their rank card. They must provide the correct credentials in order to check their result.

AP PGECET Result Date 2019
The candidates should keep all the important updates related to the examination. Candidates should follow the dates which are important and should keep a track on the changes of information. The table below consists of the important Examination Dates of AP PGECET 2019.

Colleges will first fill up the seats giving first preference to GATE/GPAT students and for the remaining seats, the candidates will be selected as per their performance in the Entrance. 25% i.e 30 out of 100 have to will be applicable to the candidates for ranking. For the ST/SC candidates, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking.
Procedure to Check the AP PGECET Result 2019
Candidates have to go through a certain procedure for downloading their result. The procedure is the same for any category of student. The result can only be checked online. The offline process is not available. The candidates have to go through some steps to download their result and they are as:
- Candidates first need to visit the official site of AP PGECET 2019 to download the result.
- When the page opens, the candidate has to login or register himself by entering the AP PGECET 2019 Registration Number and his/her Date of Birth.
- The Examination paper which the candidate attempted should be selected by the students.
- When the result gets displayed on the screen, the candidate should save it. It is advisable to keep more than three hard copies of the result with the candidate.
- The candidate should check all the details very carefully in the results. The result card consists of some details and they are the Name of the candidate, Father’s name, Name of the paper of the AP PGECET, The marks and the rank along with the percentile of the candidate, and the qualifying Status of the candidate. Misprint in the candidate’s personal details or others should be immediately informed to the Examination Authorities. The candidate should request for immediate rectification of the misprint to the examination charge.
AP PGECET Rank Card 2019
The Rank Card and the results of AP PGECET are not declared on the same day. The rank card will be published after the result is announced. The candidate should download the rank card and keep a print out of it. The rank card will be needed in the different stages of Allotment process. The Rank card is also needed in the counselling process. The candidate’s ranking is on the basis of the qualifying marks. The Examination Authorities do not allot ranks to the disqualified candidates. The SC/ST candidates have no minimum qualifying marks for the ranking of AP PGECET 2019.

AP PGECET Counselling 2019
After the State level Entrance Results, the candidates have to go for counselling. The counselling is based on the student’s score and rank. This counselling is mandatory for all the candidates. The students are called for counselling on the basis of the rank. The counselling for GATE/GPAT candidates are done separately. The counselling is different in different courses. The students should carry all the xerox of the documents. It is compulsory to attend the counselling for the qualifiers of 2019 for Admission in M.Tech/M.E/ M.Pharmacy courses of the state colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The counsellings comprises of two rounds. The document verification will be started from last week of August 2019 and the option entry will be started from first week of October. The candidates will not be sent any separate call letters from the Authorities.
