XIC OET 2018 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

The XIC official examination authority will release the hall ticket released on 23 April 2018. Candidates who successfully applied for online mass communication entrance test 2018, they can access their Hall Ticket in online mode by visiting the link “XIC OET 2018 Admit Card” and by entering the unique username and password. XIC OET 2018 Hall Ticket contains the exam centre details, important guidelines and other details. The students should take the printout of admit card and carry the admit card on the day of examination.

XIC OET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The official examination conducting authority has released a set of eligibility criteria for the aspirants who are willing to attend OET 2018 and get admission into XIC. Before registering and filling up the online application form of XIC OET 2018 candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the authority. The eligibility criteria required to apply for XIC OET 2018 is provided in the table below.

2.Academic Qualification
  • Candidates must have completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in an approved university in one of the below-mentioned streams:

OR

  • Candidates appearing for last semester or in the third year of graduation are eligible to apply for XIC OET 2018, provided the mark-sheets and pass certificates of the qualifying examination are available at the time of admission.

XIC OET Application Form 2018

The XIC is inviting application for Journalism & Mass Communication course 2018 from April 1st, 2018. Candidates must fill in the application form online before April 15th, 2018. Candidates are advised to fill up the application form of XIC OET 2018 only after checking the above-mentioned eligibility criteria.

To register for the XIC OET online entrance test, follow the steps given below:

Step 1:- Click on the “Apply Now” link provided at the top of this page.(link will be provided once it gets released)

Step 2:- Read the instruction carefully and click on “Apply Now” option.

Step 3:- Create a “login ID” and “password” by registering yourself.

Step 4:- Fill in the application form by entering the personal details and academic qualification.

Step 5:- Upload scanned image of recent passport size photograph and signature.

Step 6:- Payment of application fee.

Step 7:- Download the application form and take the printout of the same for future use.

Application Fee Payment: The application fee payment of amount Rs.3500/- will have to be made by the candidate in online mode through debit/ credit cards or net banking.

XIC OET Exam pattern & Syllabus

XIC OET Exam pattern is the most significant part from the test point of view. Candidates are advised to be well acquainted with the test pattern in order to make the preparation more effective. XIC Mass Communication Selection and Admission procedure 2018

  • After the XIC online entrance test (OET), the official examination body will determine the minimum qualifying marks (cut-off) based on some factors. If an applicant score more than or equal to cut-off in OET then he/ she will be called for the interview round which will be conducted via skype.
  • The candidate shall be shortlisted and given admission based on the performance in OET and Skype interview.
  • The skype interview will be conducted immediately after the completion of OET and probably at the same centre.
  • For few courses, apart from skype interview, there shall be group discussion (GD) and personal interview.

Final Merit List of XIC OET

After all the rounds, the XIC OET official authority will prepare the final merit list. It will contain names the shortlisted candidates eligible for admission. The candidates can check the list here once it gets released. To confirm the seat, candidates will have to pay the admission fee online which would mean that they have accepted the seat allotted to them. The shortlisted candidate must report to the institute in person along the following list of documents for verification.

  • Class 10th Certificate or equivalent (as a proof of Date of Birth).
