UKSEE Result and Merit List 2018 – Download, Tie Breaking Procedure

To get enrolled for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree in the College/Institute of Uttarakhand, one has to appear in the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination. Uttarakhand Technical University conducts UKSEE every year in the month of May for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programme in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy and Management.

This article will talk about the result and merit list of UKSEE 2018. The result of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination is declared after the test is conducted. The official authority has declared the result of UKSEE for the year 2018 for all courses had been released on 30th May 2018. However, the entrance examination was conducted in the 2nd week of May 2018.

Steps to view and download the Result of UKSEE 2018

1. Go to the official website of Uttarakhand Technical University i.e www.uktech.ac.in.
2. On the homepage appeared on the screen, click on “Result UKSEE 2018” option.
3. Enter the registration and password (generated while filling up the application form).
4. On entering the valid details, the result will appear on the screen.
5. Check the result carefully and download it.
6. Take the printout of the same for future use.

What details does the Result of UKSEE carry

• Candidate’ name.
• Roll number
• Category
• Course name
• Scorecard with total marks.
• Subject-wise marks obtained.

Merit List of UKSEE 2018

Based on the performance of candidates in UKSEE 2018, separate merit list will be prepared for each course/programme. Merit List contains the name of the candidates eligible to sit for the counselling round. Merit List will be released online at the official website by the official authority soon after the declaration of result. Counselling will be done as per with the ranks in the Merit List.

Merit list is prepared considering the rank, availability of seats, number of applicants applied for a particular course etc. Separate Merit List will be prepared for each programme. Merit List contains the Candidate’s name, Rank obtained, Roll Number and name of the course opted by the candidates.

Steps to check the Merit List of UKSEE 2018

1. Go to the official website of Uttarakhand Technical University i.e www.uktech.ac.in.
2. On the homepage appeared on the screen, click on “Merit List 2018” option.
3. The separate Merit List for various programmes will be displayed on the screen.
4. Click on the appropriate merit list link.
5. Merit List will appear on the screen.
6. If applicants name appears in the list, then he/she can download and take the printout of the same for future use.

Tie Breaking Procedure

In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, inter-se-merit of such shall be determined as follows:

• Firstly, by the number of incorrect answers attempted by the candidates. A candidate giving the lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed on higher merit.
• Second by Age only (Candidate with higher age will be placed on higher merit)
• By marks in qualifying examinations.
