TNTEU Exam Time Table 2020
The dates for the release of the registration form and other important events will be released on an official website of the TNTEU. Candidates will have to keep themselves updated with the information released by the University. Eligibility Criteria For TNTEU Admissions 2020
The candidates applying for any of the courses offered by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University must make sure that they are fulfilling the TNTEU eligibility criteria as per prescribed by the TNTEU admission authorities of the University. It must be noted that the eligibility for B.Ed, M.Phil, M.Ed and PhD in Education will differ as per the course, the procedure of admission to the mentioned courses will also be different. The detailed eligibility criteria will be mentioned in the Information Brochure which will be released along with the Registration Application Form made available by the University. | M.Ed | Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Education from a recognized University or equivalent and must have secured at 50% marks in their Theory and Practical separately. |
| M.Phil (Full Time) | Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Education with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks will be provided to the candidates from reserved category. |
| M.Phil (Part-Time) | Candidates who are working in affiliated colleges or in Departments of the University or in any other sector as a Teacher or Education Instructors and have an M.Ed degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for the course. |
| PhD (Full Time) | Candidate with an M.Ed degree and must have secured at least minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates with an M.A. Degree in a relevant subject with an aggregate of 55% marks can also apply. |
| PhD (Part-Time) | Candidates applying internally must have an M.Ed Degree and must have 2 years teaching experience in any of the college affiliated to TNTEU. Candidates applying externally must have passed a required qualifying examination and must have teaching experience in any State or National Level Institute. |
TNTEU 2020 Application Form
The complete procedure of the TNTEU Registration Form has begun by the university. The applicants, who wished to fill the online form could do the same from the official website of the varsity. It is an important step in order to proceed with the admission procedure further. The TNTEU Application Form will have to be submitted at the University’s prescribed office after the candidate has filled up the Application Form with all the important details. The details provided in the Application Form must be valid and correct as any form of misleading details will lead to the cancellation of the admission of the candidate.
The sections to be filled by the candidate in the Registration Form of TNTEU will be of personal details, Academic details, Contact details and uploading the photograph and the signature as per the instructions provided in the Information Brochure. Candidates must make sure of the course while filling the Application form and must go through the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the University before applying to the desired course. The final submission of the TNTEU Application Form will only after the payment of the application fee, applications without the submission of the Application fee will not be accepted.
TNTEU 2020 Admission Procedure
The criteria of admission as well as the procedure of the admission to any of the course differs and depends on the University’s guidelines. The courses offered under the field of Education by the TNTEU University are B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil and PhD. Candidates applying for any of the mentioned courses have to make themselves aware of the admission procedure which will be conducted by the University. For some courses, the admission is provided on the basis of the Merit and for others, the University conducts an entrance examination. We have mentioned the admission procedure of all the courses offered by the University in the tabular format below:

| M.Phil (Full Time) and (Part-Time) | The admission to this course will be provided on the basis of the Merit which will be prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. |
| PhD (Full Time) | Admission will be provided on the basis of the marks in the entrance test and an Interview conducted by the University panel. |
| PhD (Part-Time) | The admission will be provided as per the guidelines released by the University at the time of the admission. |
TNTEU Hall Ticket 2020
The TNTEU 2020 Hall Ticket has been released by the examination conducting body of the University on its official website. Candidates must keep themselves updated with the date of the release of the Admit Card. It is a mandatory document that is required to be bought by the candidate on the day of the exam. Candidates without the Admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and appear for the TNTEU entrance exam. It must be noted that since the University will not be conducting entrance exams for TNTEU admission to every course, the TNTEU Admit Card is issued only to those candidates who have applied for the particular courses for the entrance is held.
The courses in which admission will be on the basis of the Merit, there will be no requirement of the TNTEU Admit Card. It should be noted though that only those candidates who have successfully submitted the duly filled TNTEU Application Form before the due date along with the Application fee will be provided with an Admit Card. The Admit card will mention all the required details which will be important for the candidate on the day of the exam. The details mentioned on the TNTEU Hall Ticket will be the Name of the candidate, Roll Number, Application Number, Date of the entrance test, Time of the test, venue of the exam, Course name and code and the important instructions to be followed by the candidate on the day of the exam.
TNTEU Results 2020
The candidates will be able to go through the Result of TNTEU 2020 by providing the required credentials which were given after the successful registration of the candidate. The TNTEU Results will be released of the TNTEU entrance exam of the courses for which the test has been conducted for the admission to the courses.
It must be noted that only those candidates will be able to access the Result who have appeared for the entrance exam and needs to secure the defined marks in order to proceed for the TNTEU admission procedure further. Only after qualifying the entrance test, candidates will be able to proceed for the Interview Procedure. The TNTEU entrance exam will be held only for the M.Ed and Ph.D. course. Candidates must make sure of the dates and the day of the entrance exam.
TNTEU Merit List 2020
Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University will be releasing the Merit List on the website. The TNTEU Merit List will be released of the Courses for which the admission will be provided on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. There will be no entrance exam conducted by the University for these courses. Candidates must keep themselves updated with the latest released information on the website. The Merit List of TNTEU will mention the names or the Application Number of the candidates who have been selected for the admission procedure further and are required to attend the Counselling procedure. The dates for the release of TNTEU Merit List 2020 and the date of TNTEU Result 2020 will be different which will be mentioned in the schedule released by the University.
TNTEU Counselling 2020
The TNTEU counselling will be held by the admission conducting body of the University. The TNTEU counselling procedure will be held for the candidates who are applying for the B.Ed course. The Merit List will be prepared by the University on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination and those who will be able to secure a place in the TNTEU Merit List will be called for the Counselling Procedure. The final Seat Allotment will only be through the Counselling and selected candidates will be provided with the Imitation Letter mentioning the date, time and venue of the TNTEU Counselling at which the candidate has to report.
The TNTEU entrance exam selected applicants will have to bring the important documents in original along with their self-attested photocopies. The list of the documents will be provided in the Information Brochure which will be released by the University. Candidates will also have to pay the TNTEU admission fee at the time of the seat allotment. Those who will not be able to fulfill the required conditions of documents and the admission fee will not be eligible for the TNTEU counselling seat allotment and the seat will be allotted to the candidate next in waiting.
