Sharda University is a university college and educational institution in greater Noida which conducts the Sharda University Admissions test (SUAT). The university offers a vast range of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level. SUAT is a national level examination aimed to recognize candidate’s ability and aptitude for admission to engineering course. Qualifying the SUAT will make the candidate eligible for procuring a seat in Sharda University. SUAT is conducted in online computer based mode. SUAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to applying for SUAT 2018, candidates must make sure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria are based on certain parameters like age, education qualification, qualifying exam, etc. Candidates must check the criteria and only then apply for the examination. - Age Criteria – candidate must be 17 years of age as on 31st December 2018. Candidates belonging to the OBC Category will be given a relaxation of 2.5% and those belonging to the SC/ST will be given a relaxation of 5%.
- Educational qualification – Candidates must have passed class 10 and 12 with minimum 60%. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in class 12th.
- Entrance Examination -Sharda University will offer admission to eligible candidates based on their performance in SUAT 2018 followed by an Interview.
SUAT 2018 Application Form
The SUAT 2018 application form has been made available in the online mode from March 2018. candidates must fill and submit the application form to take the SUAT 2018. The applicant must first register himself/herself, choose the desired course and fill all the details as asked in the application form. Candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1200 in the online mode through credit card, debit card and net banking. Candidates can also pay the application fee of SUAT 2018 in the offline mode in the form of a demand draft in favor of Sharda University payable at Greater Noida or through cash at Sharda University campus / Regional Offices. If in any case, the candidate is not able to fill the SUAT 2018 application form, he/she can click on “retrieve your application” option to fill the pending information. All candidates must provide only the valid and correct information while form filling.
Exam Pattern of SUAT 2018
All appearing candidates must be thorough with the exam pattern of SUAT 2018. The exam pattern of an entrance examination usually includes information about the exam like the mode and duration of the exam as well as the question paper information like the number of questions, the sections, the language, the markings scheme, etc. Candidates can check the SUAT 2018 exam Pattern in the points given below.
- SUAT 2018 exam will be held in online computer based mode.
- It will be a long exam for a duration of 90 minutes (1 Hours 30 minutes).
- There will be a total of 100 questions.
- Questions will be asked from English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
- The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice) with 4 options to choose from.
- There is no provision of negative marking in SUAT 2018. candidates will be required to score at least 35% to qualify the SUAT 2018.
SUAT Slot Booking
After the candidates have filled and submitted the application form and fee, the candidate will be able to book a slot for the exam. Since the examination is held in online mode, candidates will be required to choose the test date and time. The details of slot booking will be mailed to the candidates on their registered email- Id. Candidates will be required to navigate through the slots to book the slot of their choice. he/she will then have to enter their User Id, System ID and Password. The next step in slot booking will be to choose the preferred test state, city, center, date and slot. And after this, the candidate must Confirm the booking.
Admit Card of SUAT 2018
After the candidates have successfully booked a slot, they will be able to download the SUAT 2018 Admit card automatically. The admiyt card is one of the most important document, that the candidate must carry to the exam center on the day of the exam. Without the Admit card, candidates will not be able to take the SUAT 2018. SUAT 2018 hall ticket will carry important information like the name and roll number of the candidate, the test date and timings accroding to the slot booked by the candidate. Candiadtes will be required to take a print out of the admit card as well as save a soft copy of it for future reference.
Exam Centers
The exam centers are venues that the candidates must choose while appearing for the exam. Candidates can make this choice of take the SUAT 2018 in either sharda University campus or sharda University regional offices or in any of the 51 test centers across the nation. Candidates must locate the nearest test center to them to take the SUAT 2018.
SUAT Results 2018
The SUAT 2018 results will be announced tentatively in the 4th week of June 2018. Candidates will be required to go to the official website of Sharda University to check the results. The link of the results will be provided here as soon as it is released. The results will be announced in the online mode only for those candidates who have taken the exam. In order to qualify SUAT 2018, candidates will be required to score at least 35% of marks.
Those candidates who are selected will be called for the PI round or Personal Interview round. This round will be held in the Sharda University campus or the regional offices.
