The SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEE) results 2018 for admission to B.Tech degree programmes, that was held from 16th to 30th April 2018 across the country, were declared on 1st May 2018 on the official website. B.Tech seats are being offered to the shortlisted candidates at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur (Chennai), SRM Haryana, Sonepat and SRM AP, Amaravati. The admissions to the B.Tech programmes in SRM Group of Institutions will be done based on the marks and ranks obtained in SRMJEEE 2018.

Total 1,72,825 candidates registered for SRMJEE 2018 from across the country out of which 76,000 applicants qualified and invited for counselling. The test was conducted across 123 centres in India and in 5 centres across the Middle East for NRI Candidates.

Counseling for admission to B.Tech has been scheduled for SRM University- Haryana, SRM University- AP, Amaravati from 7 May 2018 to 10 May 2018 at their respective campuses. SRM Institute of Science & Technology has scheduled counseling from 11 May to 20 May, at its NCR campus and Kattankulathur campus.
