SLAT Results 2018

The SLAT 2018 result declared on 14 May 2018 on its official website. The candidates who appeared in the test can access the result by entering the valid SLAT ID and password. Based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the test, the official authority determines the cut-offs and prepares a merit list. The result or scorecard contains the marks obtained in the entrance test.

SLAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering and filling up the online application form of SLAT 2018, aspirants must make sure that they fit into all the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria to apply for SLAT 2018 is provided in the table below. In case, if the applicant caught ineligible at any stage by the official authority, then his/her candidature will be cancelled.

3.Academic Qualification
  • Applicants having completed their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education) in any discipline from any recognised Board / Council / University with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades, are eligible to apply for SLAT2018.
  • Applicants expecting their 12th results this year (2018) may also apply, provided the mark-sheets and passing certificates are available at the time of second round of admission.

Application Form for SLAT 2018

The aspirants must fill in the application form online within the scheduled date. The application form for SLAT 2018 has been released on 29th Jan 2018. Candidates can fill up the application form until 14th April 2018 only after checking the above-mentioned eligibility criteria. To fill in the application form, follow the steps given below:-

  1. Go to the official website of SLAT.
  2. Read the instruction carefully and click on “Apply Now” option.
  3. Create a “login ID” and “password” by registering yourself.
  4. Fill in the application form by entering the personal details and academic qualification.
  5. Upload scanned image of recent passport size photograph and signature.
  6. Payment of application fee.
  7. Download the application form and take the printout of the same for future use.
  8. Application Fee Payment: Applicants can make the registration fee payment via both in online and offline mode. Applicants also have to make an application payment. This payment can be made through Bill-desk gateway, Indian bank gateway, axis bank gateway or demand draft. If the candidate is paying through demand draft (DD), he/she has to submit a DD of Rs. 1750 from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
NOTE: After the SLAT 2018 gets over, the shortlisted candidates have to fill the application form of Symbiosis Law School to get enrolled for the Bachelor of Law programme. The dates for the same is provided in the “Important Dates” section.

Correction in Application Form: Candidates, if committed any mistakes while filling the application form, they can make changes in it till the last day of submission of application form. No applicants will not be allowed to make any changes to the application form after the date to submit the application form gets over.

SLAT Exam Pattern 2018

Every candidate who is going to appear for the exam must know the exam pattern. The exam pattern of any examination includes information about the exam like the mode of the exam, the duration, marking scheme, the types of questions and the number of questions. SLAT Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 2018

The official authority has released the SLAT 2018 Admit Card 2018 on 21 April 2018. Only registered candidates can download the admit card by entering valid registration ID and password. To generate the admit card, click on the link “SLAT 2018 Admit Card“.  However, the SLAT 2018 is scheduled to held on May 05, 2018. The registered candidates can access the hall ticket by entering the name and application number. Admit card contains the exam centre details, important guidelines and other details. The students should take the printout and carry the admit card on the day of examination.

Counselling and seat allotment process

The shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats based on the merit. Candidates can check their seat allotment by logging in to the official website. To confirm the seat, candidates will have to pay a part academic fee online which would mean that they have accepted the seat allotted to them. The print out of admission fee receipt must be taken after the payment. Admission to the college will be made based on the rank secured by the candidates in the entrance test. The shortlisted candidate must report to the institute in person along the list of documents for verification.

Seat Reservation

The official examination authority reserves a definite number of seats for the candidates belonging to special categories such as Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Person with Disability.

Candidates have to mention their reservation category while filling the application form of SLAT 2018. Students claiming reservation are required to produce valid supporting documents in the prescribed format at the time of counselling in order to avail the benefit of SLAT reserved seats.
