Ranchi University Merit List 2021: Selection List of LLM (2-Year course) and Fourth Selection List of LLB Course released. The result for MSc Semester-I is available now. Candidates can check the result below. Ranchi University invites an Application form for admission to the various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Candidates who wish to seek admission to the college will have to fill up the Application form and submit it before the due date. The admission of the candidates is through the Merit List. The exam conducting authority prepares the merit list on the basis of the scores of the candidate in the qualifying exam. However, for admission to a few courses, the University conducts an entrance test. The criteria of the qualifying examination differ from course to course.

The Ranchi University Merit List 2021 contains the names of the candidates who are eligible for the Counselling round. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks. The Ranchi University Admissions takes place on the basis of the marks that the candidate scores in their qualifying examination. While for some courses, the University conducts the entrance exam. The candidate’s score decides whether the candidate is eligible to get admission to the applied course. Candidates whose names appear in the Merit List have to appear for the Counselling round. During the counselling, they have the option of selecting their college and the course. The verification of the documents takes place on the day of counselling. The final seat allocation of the candidates takes place after the counselling. After every round of Counselling, there will be a Seat Allotment round. Candidates not being able to acquire a seat can wait for another round of Counselling.

The University will release the Merit List on the basis of the candidate’s scores in the entrance exam or the qualifying exam. Counselling Round takes place in various phases and for each phase, the candidate has to apply separately. Candidates whose name is on the merit list will be eligible for the counselling. The option of withdrawal or acceptance of the admission to the allotted college will be done under the Counselling Procedure.

Ranchi University Seat Allotment 2021

The Seat Allotment is the last round of providing the confirmation of the admission. Seat Allotment round takes place after the Counselling procedure. Seat allotment will take place in phases. The candidates who attend the counselling procedure at the given college and date are liable to get seats in a particular course. It is important to note that if the seat is given to a candidate, the submission of the Admission fee must take place on the same day. In case the candidate is not able to pay the admission fee on the day, the seat will be given to the other candidate on the waiting list.
