The NTA NEET Result is announced on the official website and thus shall be available in online mode. Candidates’ should note that the result can be checked online only. Further, the students can follow the below-mentioned steps to check their results.

2. On the homepage, login by first entering the application number and password.
3. Then click on the “Submit” button.

How is NTA NEET 2025 Result Calculated?

The authorities follow a pattern or scheme to calculate the result or score of the students. Moreover, basically, there are 2 phases of the calculation process. Firstly, the officials calculate the raw score in accordance with the marking scheme. Thus, while calculating the raw score, 4 marks are awarded for a correct answer, zero for unattempted questions, and 1 mark get deducted for each incorrect answer.

The MCC is responsible for releasing the NEET Merit List 2025. It indicates the names of all the selected candidates. This merit list is released after the result declaration. Wherein, students are ranked in order of merit as per their performance in the entrance exam. NTA NEET Tie-Breaking Criteria

Sometimes, two students end up having the exact same score. Thus, at that time it becomes difficult for the authorities to rank them. Hence, during that time, the tie-breaking criteria come into play. The authorities consider the NEET Tie-Breaking Criteria to further decide the final score of such students. Further, the marks of candidates are determined in accordance with the following rules:

• Candidates with higher marks in Biology (Zoology & Botany) in the NEET 2025 Exam are placed at a higher rank.
• If the tie still remains, then the student’s marks in the Chemistry section are considered.
• In addition, if the tie is still not resolved then the candidate who attempted fewer wrong answers in all the sections is given preference.
• Furthermore, the age of the candidate is taken into consideration if the tie continues. The older candidate is further ranked higher than the younger ones.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) uses computer software for checking the answer sheets. Hence, the re-evaluation facility is not provided by the exam conducting body.
