MU OET Counselling 2018: The counselling procedure of MU-OET 2018 has ended today. The MU OET 2018 counselling had started taking place from 28th May 2018 till 6th June 2018. All those candidates whose names are there on the merit list were called for counselling and seat allotment procedure. MU OET Counselling 2018 was held in offline mode. Candidates had to report to the counselling venue in person. They had to carry the all the important documents for verification. Every candidate was required to register at the counselling venue and select the preferred course and college. Seats were allocated to the candidate based on this choice made by the candidate after the documents had been verified by the concerned authority. A counselling fee had to be paid at the time of counselling. Candidates were then be given a seat allotment letter and the receipt which they had to carry to the allotted institute to confirm the admission.

MU OET Counselling 2018
Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) is an online entrance exam conducted by the Manipal University. It is a University level examination conducted for admission to various undergraduate and post-graduate courses like engineering, pharmacy, applied science and many other courses offered by institutions winged under Manipal University. All those students who wish to take admission in the Manipal University must take the MU OET 2018.
MU OET 2018 Counselling Venue
For the first round of MU OET 2018 counselling, candidates had to select their choice of venue preference-wise. The venues have to be chosen at the time of Counselling registration from the ones mentioned below:

MU OET Counselling Procedure
Registration: Candidates have to register for this round of Counselling of MU OET 2018. The registration forms will be available at the counter and candidates have to fill all the necessary information in the form. Eligible candidates also have to submit their choice of college and course.
Payment of Fees: All candidates have to pay the registration and counselling fees at the time of registration. The fees have to be paid through demand draft drawn in favor of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” payable at Manipal or Udupi.
Modifying / Filling Choices:
The Candidates can change the choices filled by them by logging in with their application ID and OTBS password. The modification can be done according to the preference of the candidate and he/she can change the choices till they are finally locked. If the candidate forgets to lock the choices after the last date, the choices made will be automatically locked.
Similarly, the other 4 rounds of MU OET 2018 will be held.
- After the five rounds have been conducted and there are seats left, the intra-institute sliding will be conducted for those students who have already been allotted seats.
- The seat up-gradation can take place only in the institute where the candidate has been allotted the seat. A shift of campus will not be allowed.
- Those candidates who haven’t accepted the allotted seats will not be eligible for this.
- Candidates have to be physically present during the Inter-institute sliding.
- The registration form for the same will be available at the venue and candidates have to fill it and write down their choice and lock it.
- Allotment of seats will be done based on the choice filled by the candidate, his/her rank, and the vacancy.
One-Debit Card Facility
Candidates who will be allotted seats in the Manipal Institute of Technology have to fill and submit an ICICI account opening form at the ICICI Bank Counter during counselling in order to obtain the One-debit card facility. This card will act as the Identity card of Manipal University, Access Control Card and an ICICI Debit/ATM Card with Zero-Balance facility. To open the account, the candidate has to submit one identity proof (Voter ID/ PAN card/ Aadhar Card/ passport/driving license). Without submitting the account opening form, One-Debit Card will not be issued.
MU OET Counselling Fees
Candidates had to pay the registration and counselling fees at the time of registration. The fee had to be paid through demand draft drawn in favor of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” payable at Manipal or Udupi. There was no other method to pay this amount.

MU OET Seat Allotment
Seats were allocated based on the rank of the candidates. The higher the rank, the more preference was given to candidates. Seat allotment was done based on the availability of seats at that particular time of counselling. The MU OET seat allotment will be declared online and candidates have to report to their respective institution to complete the admission procedure.
MU OET 2018 Wait List
In case a candidate wants to participate in the second round of Counselling, they have to select the Wait List option. This option can be opted by those who participated in the first round of counselling but were not allocated any seats. They have to pay the registration and counselling fees and if they have already paid the amount, the amount will be adjusted during the admission process.
Reporting to the Institutes
Candidates who have been allotted seats have to report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission. The allotment letter and fees receipt has to be produced at the respective institute/ College.
