Selection Process for Assistant Recruitment Exam

  • Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria have to attend a written exam. The written examination carries 250 marks.
  • Then, applicants who qualify for the entrance test or written exam can appear on the computer proficiency test of 50 marks.

Mizoram University Computer Proficiency Test syllabus

Candidates who qualify for the competitive written examination test will be eligible to appear on the computer proficiency test. This is test aims to test the candidate’s knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Applications for everyday work including usage of the Internet.

  • The total marks of the test are 50 marks.
  • The minimum qualifying marks is 15 marks.
  • The time duration of the test is 45 marks and the compensatory time is 15 minutes.

NOTE – The compensatory time is for the PWD candidates availing of the scribe/reader or lab assistant.

  • Two descriptive questions are asked of 15 marks each. Hence, the total marks for this section are 30 marks.
  • The total time duration of 2 hours.

MZU Exam Pattern for Half Paper

  • The mode of the examination is offline. Candidates have to write the answers using pen and paper.
  • A total of 5 MCQs are asked. Each question carries 1 mark. The total marks are 5 marks.
  • Three short questions are asked of 5 marks each. The total marks for this section are 15 marks.
  • Two descriptive questions are asked of 15 marks each. Hence, the total marks for this section are 30 marks.
  • The total time duration of 2 hours.
