Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law): As per the latest update, the Maharashtra State CET Cell has formally declared the MAH CET Result 2020 for Law Entrance Exam today i.e. on 2nd December 2020. According to the information available right now, the State CET Cell has published the Results for MAH-LL.B.3 Years CET 2020 for which the exam was held on 2nd and 3rd November 2020. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra. The Exam is conducted to select candidates for the BA LLB and LLB programmes offered by various colleges in the state of Maharashtra that participate in the counselling process.

The Admissions to the various courses will be taking place through a centralized process known as CAP (Centralized Admission Process). Allotment of seats through CAP will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Entrance Test and in the colleges as opted for by the candidates during the counselling process.

MHT CET LLB Result 2020 – Toppers List

The State CET Cell has published the MAH CET Result 2020 for admission to 3 Year LLB Programmes online on its official website in the form of a common PDF List. The PDF List contains the details of candidates and the equated score secured by them out of the total score of 150. According to the scores provided in the PDF Result File, Mugdha Vasant Patwardhan, Yukti Arora, Aniruddha Omkar Shidhaya and Vrinda Bhola have jointly topped the MHT CET Law 2020 Exam with equated score 118 / 150.

How to View the MH CET Law Results

The results of MH CET LAW shall be declared online on the official websites of the individual competent authority for BA LLB and LLB programmes. The official websites are llb5.mhpravesh.in and llb3.mhpravesh.in respectively.

  • Enter MH CET Law 2020 registration number

  • View MH CET Law 2020 scorecard

Results of LLB (3 years) Course

Score Card of MH Law CET 2020

The scorecard of the common entrance examination shall contain all details regarding the performance of the candidate in the examination. It must be downloaded and kept safely as it shall be required while taking admissions in the allotted colleges.

The scorecard shall contain the following details:

  • Application Number
  • Seat Number
  • Candidature type
  • Programme
  • Score
  • All India Rank
  • State Rank

Merit Lists of MH CET Law

The merit lists of MH CET Law shall be published on the websites llb3.mhpravesh.in and llb5.mhpravesh.in. The merit lists shall be prepared for all the categories separately. They shall contain the following information:

  • General merit Number
  • MS merit number
  • Category merit number
  • Application Number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • candidature type
  • CET score
  • HSC/SSC percentage

Criteria of Breaking a Tie

BA LLB 5 years

In case of a tie i.e candidates scoring same marks in the Entrance test, the following scores in the given order of preference shall be taken into consideration to resolve it:

  • higher percentage of marks in Qualifying Examination (HSC or equivalent examination);
  • higher percentage of marks in first language at HSC or equivalent examination;
  • higher percentage of marks in SSC or equivalent examination;
  • higher percentage of marks in English at SSC or equivalent examination.

LLB 3 Years

In order to resolve a tie, the following criteria shall be employed in the specified order of preference as given below:

  • first preference shall be given to the candidate having post graduate degree of statutory University;
  • higher percentage of marks in Post graduate degree of statutory University;
  • higher percentage of marks in Qualifying undergraduate Examination;
  • higher percentage of marks in aggregate at HSC or Equivalent Examination
