How To Participate In The Admission Counselling Of Kerala Polytechnic 2020?
In order to participate in the Kerala Polytechnic Counselling, the candidates must follow certain steps. We have mentioned the steps to be followed. Check below.
Kerala Polytechnic Seat Distribution
Primarily, the candidate must visit the official website i.e. admissions.dtekerala.gov.in of Kerala Polytechnic. The information regarding the first seat allotment will be available there. The candidates are allotted seats based on the merit as well as their preference of choice. It also depends on the eligibility of the candidate and the number of seats available in a particular course. Furthermore, after the candidate has been through allotment the seat, they must keep a copy of the results with them. Subsequently, they must report to the college with the required documents. Moreover, the candidate must check their Kerala Polytechnic Counselling Seat Allotment status by providing their registration Id & Date of birth.
Kerala Polytechnic Document Verification
Subsequently, the candidates must provide the required documents during the Kerala Polytechnic counselling rounds. However, they must make sure that the documents are valid. Any invalid document found during the polytechnic counselling may lead to admission cancellation.
Report To The Allotted Kerala Polytechnic College
The candidates who have been allotted seats must report to the allotted polytechnic college in Kerala. However, they must be on time to the venue. Subsequently, they must provide the required credentials. Also, they must pay the college fees in order to get admission in Kerala Polytechnic successfully. In case the candidate fails to report to the allotted centre, then their admission will be forfeited. Furthermore, the institute checks the credentials of the candidate. If there is any discrepancy, then the candidate will be dismissed from taking admission.
Kerala Polytechnic Counselling Letter
After the candidates have been through the first allotment of seat in the Kerala Polytechnic Counselling, they will subsequently be provided with an admission letter. The candidate must inform the allotted Polytechnic college in Kerala regarding the same. They must reach the centre, possessing the admission confirmation letter. Furthermore, they must pay the balance in order to confirm the allotted seat. However, the confirmation must be done before the last date.

- Before the candidates sit for the counsel, they will have to fill up the Kerala Polytechnic online application form. Whilst filling it, they must select the choice of their college & course. Subsequently, if they are allotted their first preference of seat, then they will have to report to the allotted institute. However, they must make sure that they do it on time. If they are not present then the seat will be provided to the next candidate. The qualifying candidate will lose the seat.
- In case the seat allotted to the candidate is not according to his preference, yet he/she still wants to keep it. Then, the candidate must cancel their higher preference. Thereafter they must report to the Kerala Polytechnic Counselling allotted institute at the allotted time.
However, if a candidate doesn’t wish to keep a lower preferred allotted seat then he or she will have to participate in the subsequent rounds to keep the chances of being allotted first preference seat. To do so, a candidate will have to report at polytechnic college in Kerala and submit a higher option. Also, get a confirmation of a reporting.
- However, in case if the candidate does not wish to keep the lower preferred seat, then he/she must wait to participate in the subsequent rounds of Kerala Polytechnic Counselling. This way they will keep their chances of getting first preference seat open. Subsequently, they must report at the polytechnic college & submit an application for a higher option. It is also important that they get a confirmation of reporting as well.
