JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form: Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is conducted exclusively for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). It is a common entrance examination which is conducted annually by any one of the organizing IITs. This year, the exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode on May 20th, 2018 i.e Sunday. There will be 2 papers in the examination and both will be compulsory. Paper 1 will be conducted in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 will be conducted in the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM.

JEE Main 2018 Result has been published on 30th April 2018. Registration for JEE Advanced is now Over. Registrations had begun from 2nd May 2018 and were available till 8th May (10 am) extended for Indian Nationals whereas for “foreign nationals” the registration had already started from 18th April 2018. The Deadline for fee payment of registered candidates was 8th May 2018 (5 pm). 

The JEE Advanced 2018 Application form for other candidates will be released in the online mode on the official website on 2nd May 2018 to 8th May 2018 (10 hrs). IIT Kanpur will release the form for the exam on the JEE Advanced Online Portal.

Important Points to keep in mind

  • Candidates who are eligible will have to first register themselves on the given portal.
  • After this, applicants will have to upload the required documents like Photograph and signature of the candidates and documents like certificate of class 10th and 12th, category/PwD certificate, Scribe request letter, PIO card/ OCI certificate, DS certificate.
  • General category candidates will then have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,600+ GST. Reserved Category candidates (ST/SC/PwD/female candidates) will have to pay an amount of Rs.1300 + GST. Applicants, who fill the application form late will be charged an amount of Rs. 500 along with the requisite application fee.
  • Deadline for late application fee is 2nd week of May 2018.
  • Payment of fees can be made by SBI Debit card/ Net banking or in cash using SBI Branch option.
  • After completion, applicants will have to take a print out of the confirmation page and keep it for future references.

How To Fill JEE Advanced 2018 Application/Registration Form

Registration

  1. Click on the Registration link on the JEE Advanced Official Website
  2. Go through all the instructions on the screen
  3. Log in to the registration portal using JEE Main 2018 Roll number and Password. Choose the new JEE Advanced password.
  4. On successfully logging in, registration details entered by the candidates for JEE Main 2018 will be displayed.
  5. JEE Advanced 2018 Registration form will require the candidates to fill in fields like the language of the question paper, exam center, number of attempts, category and scribe status.
  6. Now check all the details and submit the form.

Uploading Scanned Images

  1. Go to the upload images option.
  2. Select the required images.
  3. Upload the scanned images like photograph and signature of the candidates and documents like certificate of class 10th and 12th, category/PwD certificate/DS certificate, Scribe request letter, and PIO card/ OCI certificate.
  4. All the images have to be uploaded to the correct specification given in the table below:

Payment of JEE Advanced 2018 Application Fees

Candidates can make the payment in online mode through SBI Debit Card or Net Banking.

  1. Click on Pay registration fee. This will redirect the candidate to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page.
  2. The applicant can now choose the mode of payment like SBI Debit Card or Net Banking.
  3. Upon successful payment, a unique number will be generated. Candidates must take a print out of the same with registration details.

Candidates can make the payment in offline mode by cash through SBI branch

  1. Click on Pay registration fee. This will redirect the candidate to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page.
  2. Select SBI Branch option to generate an e-challan.
  3. Take a print out of the challan and make cash payment.
  4. After payment, the candidate has to enter payment details for the unique registration number to be generated.
  5. Now take a print out of the “Registration Details” along with the unique number.

After the payment has been made take a print out of the confirmation page.

List of Documents to be uploaded by the Reserved Category Candidates

  1. OBC-NCL – OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after 1st June 2018 according to the latest guidelines by the Government of India. (Form EC2)
  2. SC/ST – Caste certificate according to SC or ST. (Form SC/ST)
  3. PwD – Physical Disability Certificate issued by notified Medical Authority.(FORM-PwD II/III/IV)

Dyslexia candidate must submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 issued by a doctor specializing in psychiatry and associated with 1the RCI/Dyslexia Associations. The certificate should state the candidate’s condition as “Severe” for him/her to categorized under PwD category candidate.

  1. Applicants who need the scribe facility – Letter issued by Chairman of respective zonal coordinating IIT. (FORM-SCRIBE)
  2. DS category – Certificate issued by competent authority in Directorate of Rehabilitation and Resettlement New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
  3. PIO/OCI Card holders – PIO/OCI certificate.
