JCECE Counselling 2018: For the academic session 2018-19, the exam is likely to be conducted in the 2nd week of May 2018 and the Results of JCECE 2018 are to be announced tentatively in the 4th week of May 2018. After the results have been declared, eligible candidates will be called for counselling, the details of which are given below. JCECE Counselling 2018 will be held in computerized distributed Parallel/ Online counselling by the Jharkhand Board. JCECE Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The first round of JEECE counselling is expected to be conducted from 1st – 2nd week of June 2018. The second round of JCECE counselling is likely to begin from the 3rd week of July.

JCECE Counselling Round 1
After the results have been published, candidates will be called for counselling according to the merit list. Those with higher rank will be called first and given preference. Information like the time, day and place regarding the counselling has been made available through leading daily newspapers of Jharkhand as well as through the official website of JCECE. During JCECE counselling, candidates will be allowed to select the institute-course combination provided their documents have been verified.
JCECE Counselling Round 2
This Second round of JCECE Counselling will begin tentatively in the 3rd week of July 2018. All the vacant seats from round 1 will be transferred to round 2. Candidates who have participated in round 1 of the JCECE 2018 counselling can take part in round 2 also to change the course-institute combination.
JCECE Counselling Registration Fee
Qualified candidates from general/BC-I/BC-II category who will attend the counselling will have to pay a counselling fee in the form of a challan/ IPO of Rs.400. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category and Female candidates of all categories have to pay Rs. 250 as the counselling fee.
Things to Remember about JEECE 2018 Counselling
- The head of the concerned authorities will not entertain any application from any candidate requesting the change of institute-course after the admission process has ended.
- The controller of examination will conduct all the work related to the examination on behalf of the Board and all decisions taken by him/her will be final and binding.
- Any information that is found false relating to the candidate’s identity at the time of document verification will automatically lead to the cancellation of the applicant’s candidature and legal action will be taken against him/her.
- All candidates must carry the original as well as the self-attested photocopies of the certificates enlisted below.

- Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet
- Admit card of class 12th
- Passing certificate
- Local resident certificate issued by the S.O.O (civil) I.D.C of Jharkhand State.
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- One passport size certificate
- Dependency certificate issued by competent army officer
- Discharge certificate (those who are seeking reservation under SMQ quota)
- Disability Certificate
