IISc Admission 2025: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore holds the responsibility to offer IISc admission 2025 to all the interested candidates. The Institute provides education in the field of advanced science and technology. Before applying for admission, applicants must go through the eligibility criteria. IISc Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates have to check and meet the eligibility criteria of the Admission. Only eligible applicants will be provided with admission under various disciplines of the B.Tech course. IISc Admission 2025 eligibility criteria will be mandatory for all candidates who wish to apply for admission. These criteria are generally set by the admission authority and are prescribed below in detail for all three admission channels.
For all Candidates
- Applicants must have cleared class 12th from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- The candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in class 12th.
- Candidates must have passed their class 12th in 2025.
- Also, applicants who are appearing for class 12th exams can apply for admission of IISc 2025.
- Aspirants who have studied Biology, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc. in the class 12th will also be eligible for admission.
For candidates applying through the KVPY admission channel
Candidate must have appeared for the following exams in a particular year:
- KVPY-SA in the year 2017
- KVPY-SB in the year 2018
- KVPY-SX in the year 2018
For candidates applying through JEE Main 2025 admission channel
- Aspirants belonging to the General category must have obtained 60% in JEE Main examination while OBC-NCL category aspirants must have secured 54% and aspirants of SC/ST/PwD categories must have scored at least 30% in the examination.
For candidates applying through JEE Advanced 2025 admission channel
- General category candidates must have secured at least 60% in the JEE Advanced exam whereas OBC-NCL category candidates must have scored 54% and SC/ST/PwD candidates must have obtained 30% in the JEE Advanced examination.
IISc Application Form 2025
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has released the IISc Application form 2025. The application form is available on its official site. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form else the admission authority will cancel the candidature of a non-eligible applicant. The candidate has to fill the form as per the admission channel. In order to fill the application form for IISc B.Tech admission 2025, candidates need to register themselves. Upon successful registration, applicants have to log in using their credentials and then proceed to fill the application form. The application form must be completely filled with all the required details. Candidates also have to upload scanned images of their documents in the form in a specified format.
Once the form is completely filled by an aspirant, he/she needs to pay an application fee. The fees once paid by an individual will be non-refundable under any circumstance. Candidates also have to submit their respective application forms on or before the last date of submission. Applicants are advised to take 2-3 printouts of the filled application form for future counselling and admission process.
Application Fee for IISC Admission 2025
Candidates have to pay the required amount of the application fee for filling the application form of IISc admission. This fee will vary according to the category of aspirants and payment can be done only via online mode through Debit card, Credit card, or Net Banking.

IISc Cut off 2025
IISc Authority will release the Cut-off for IISc 2025 Admission. The minimum marks required for getting admission to the institute are known as the cut-off. Aspirants have to score equal to or above the cut-off released by the admission authority. Candidates have to meet the IISc Admission Cut-off 2025 in order to have a higher chance of getting admission. The institute prepares cut-off by taking into consideration various influential factors and they are prescribed as follows:

- Total number of seats available for the admission
- Trends in previous year’s cut-off

IISc Counselling 2025
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will conduct IISc Admission 2025 Counselling for all the shortlisted candidates. The counselling will be organized on the basis of the merit list prepared according to different admission channels. At the time of counselling, seats will be allotted to aspirants. Also, all the qualified applicants have to report at the allocated venues for verification of documents. In order to confirm the allotted seats, applicants also have to pay an advance fee.
IISc Fee Structure 2025 (Subject To Change)
All the qualified candidates have to pay an admission fee required to confirm the allotted seats for IISc B.Tech Admission 2025. The concerned authority will not offer admission to applicants who do not pay this fee. Therefore, it is necessary to deposit the required amount of fees in order to confirm the admission.
