HP CET Counselling: The HP CET Counselling Process 2018 will be carried out from the 7th June 2018 by the HIMTU, Hamirpur. The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test was conducted by the university on 13th May 2018. All the aspiring candidates who wish to take admissions in the B. Tech course offered in the HPTU and other colleges affiliated to it. After the results have been announced and the merit list released, the counselling procedure will begin. HP CET Counselling 2018
Those candidates who have been listed on the merit list will be called for counselling procedure that has begun from 7th June 2018. Candidates have to first register themselves for the HPTU counselling. The counselling session will require the candidate to select the desired course and institute according to his/her preference. Aspirant will also be required to pay the registration fee. Candidates will also have to bring the below-listed documents for verification. Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their rank and preference of the candidate. Those who are shortlisted will be issued a selection letter and payment of tuition fees has to be done at the allotted institute. Failure to confirm their admission will lead to the cancellation of their allotted seat.

How to fill HP CET 2018 Counselling Form
- Registration – Candidates need to register online for the HP CET counselling. During registration, the candidate will also have to select the course of study, and select and confirm password. Upon successful registration, registration number will be generated which needs to be noted down.
- Printout of Counselling Form – Candidates have to take a print out of the same form and send it to the following address – The Registrar, H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur 177001 (HP).
The counselling will be conducted separately for HP CET qualified candidates and JEE Main candidates. There will be two rounds of counselling and the second round will be for candidates who have applied through HP CET 2018. If there are vacant seats left after the two rounds, a special round will be held and seats will be allotted based on Class 12 marks. The eligible candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank in the merit list. The HP CET counseling will be held in the offline mode and candidates need to be present physically for the same. If the candidate fails to turn up on the scheduled day and time of the counselling, his/her seat will be given to the next applicant.
Those who get admission to the B. Tech course, have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000 as the University fee. The amount can be paid using credit or debit card through Point of Sales (POS) Machine. The payment can also be made through demand draft (DD) drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University, payable at Hamirpur.
The college management will admit only those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria along with the admission criteria. Admission will be offered first to those candidates who belong to the reserved categories before that of general category.

- Proof of date of birth (10th standard certificate)

- Affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate that the candidate is applying under “Beti Hai Anmol” scheme.
