Eligibility Criteria of Bihar Diploma 2020: Go through the details of the basic criteria to apply for the Bihar Polytechnic entrancce exam. There are different criteria for different diploma courses mentioned below. Therefore, the students are advised to check the eligibility conditions carefully before further registering for the Bihar Polytechnic Counselling.
|Polytechnic Examination (PE)|
Candidates should have passed or pass (if appearing) class 10th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 35% marks.
He/She should be a citizen of India.
He/she should be fit medically.
There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
|Part-Time four years polytechnic exam (PPE)|
|Candidates must have passed the 10th or equivalent exam from a recognized Bihar board with 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually with three years of work experience.|
|He/she should have Indian citizenship.|
|He/she should be fit medically.|
|He/she should be minimum 19 years of age as on 1st August 2019.|
|Para- Medical (PM) Course|
|For Diploma in Pharmacy, candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, English, maths and biology subjects.|
|Candidates must be Indian citizens|
|He/she should be medically fit.|
|The minimum age should be 17 years and maximum of 32 years as or on 31st December 2020.|
|Para Medical Dental (PMD)|
|Candidates should have cleared or appeared in the 10th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.|
|Candidates must be an Indian citizen.|
|Candidate should be medically fit.|
|The minimum age limit is 15 years and the maximum is 30 years on 31st December 2020.|
Bihar Polytechnic Diploma Seat Reservation 2020
The government of Bihar has reserved some seats in every college for the reserved category candidates. The students belonging to caste-like scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward class are treated as the reserved category. A certain percentage of Bihar Polytechnic seats is reserved for the above-mentioned category. Furthermore, during the Bihar Polytechnic online application form filling, the candidate needs to enter their respective category. Reserved category candidate needs to have a valid supporting document to prove their category.
