AP EDCET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The AP EDCET eligibility criteria is an important part of the AP EDCET application procedure.   • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • Local/ Non-Local status: The candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status conditions as laid down in the Andhra Educational institutions.

  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must have the following educational qualifications:
  1. Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for APEd.CET-2021
  2. The candidate must pass the qualifying exam with Fifty Percent Marks. However, the candidates belonging to S.C., S.T., B.C. (A/B/C/D/E) and physically handicapped categories should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
NOTE: The candidates who passed B.E/B. Tech with Mathematics, Physics are eligible for admission into the Course.
  • Age Limit: The candidate must have completed 19 years of age by 21st July 2021

AP EDCET Answer Key 2021

The AP EDCET 2021 answer key will be available on the official website (apedcet.org) soon after the exam is conducted. The candidates who successfully appear for the entrance test will be able to download the Answer key. Issue of Notification

  • The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will issue a notification in newspapers and place the details of the counselling indicating the dates and ranks of the candidates to be attended for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for Exercising options and also notify the list of Help-line Centres in the designated website.
  • Candidates who fail to report for Certificates verification will not be considered for AP EDCET Counselling College Wise allotment of seats in any of the college list.

Certificate Verification

The candidate has to be present at the designated AP EDCET  Helpline center on the designated date and get their documents verified.

Candidates should produce the following certificates:

  • Hall ticket
  • Result of AP EdCET
  • SSC, Intermediate, Degree Marks Memo
  • Study/ Bonafide Certificate for SEVEN academic years preceding the year of passing a qualifying examination
  • Integrated Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable
  • Residence certificate / Aadhar card proof of candidate/parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
  • Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [ valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption).

• Transfer Certificate.

Exercising Options

  • After the verification process is done, candidates will be given a login ID on their registered mobile number.
  • Create a password using the registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth on the official website apedcet.nic.in.
  • Log in to the AP EDCET official website using the login ID, the above-mentioned credentials, and the password you created for option entry.
  • Use the OTP that you shall receive on successful login to enter the preferential choice number (option) for each college that you wish to join in case allotted.
  • Select the maximum number of options you can and get a printout of the saved options.

Modification of Options and Freezing

The selected options can be changed any number of times during the allotted time.

  • If after the allotted time is over, the candidate is yet not satisfied with the saved options, the authority shall give another opportunity to modify them.
  • The seats shall be frozen after this and no further modifications can be done.

Final Allotments of Seats

The final allotment order is released on the online website.

  • Candidates must download the allotment letter and must report through a self-reporting system and also report at the allotted college.
