AP EDCET Important Dates 2019:
Candidates who are planning on giving the exam of AP EDCET 2019 have to keep themselves updated with the latest released details of the schedule. The examination conducting body will make the schedule available as per on the announced dates and the candidates will have to go through the website on a regular basis so as not to miss any of the important events of the admission procedure. Late applications are not accepted by the authorities. The aspirant must save the official schedule.

AP EDCET Eligibility 2019:
The eligibility criteria is an important part of the Application procedure and the candidates who are planning on appearing for the entrance test must keep themselves updated of the defined eligibility. Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria in detail. The criteria are available in the Information Brochure. The Information Brochure is also available with the Application Form. The examination conducting body prescribes the basic eligibility as per the course and the applicants who will be applying for the said course. The applicants who will not fulfil the eligibility are not able to proceed further.

- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national.
- Local/ Non-Local status: The candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status conditions as laid down in the Andhra Educational institutions.
Description of local and non-local candidates are given below
|Local candidates for whom 85% seats are reserved||Candidates who studied for a minimum of four consecutive years ending with the qualifying exam in an institution located in the three university areas viz. Andhra University, Sri Venkateshwara University and Osmania University.|
Applicants residing at the three university areas for four consecutive years preceding the date of the qualifying exam even if they didn’t study at the university there.
The students who have studied for a minimum of seven consecutive years ending with the qualifying exam in the state.
Aspirants who are residing in the state for seven consecutive years preceding the date of the qualifying exam even if they didn’t study at an institute there.
|Non- Local candidates who can apply for the remaining 15% seats||Candidates who have resided in the State for a total period of ten years excluding periods of study outside the State.Candidates either of whose parents is in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and similar other quasi-public institutions within the State.|
Spouses of government employees in the state.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have the following educational qualifications:
- Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for APEd.CET-2019
- The candidate must pass the qualifying exam with 50% marks. However, the candidates belonging to S.C., S.T., B.C. (A/B/C/D/E) and physically handicapped categories should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Age Limit: The candidate must have completed 19 years of age by 21st July 2019
AP EDCET Application Form 2019:
The Application Form of AP EDCET 2019 is available in an online mode by the examination conducting body. Candidates who are applying for the admission to B.Ed course of 2 years must fill-up the form and submit it before the due date. The qualified applicants are provided with admission to the government-aided colleges of Andhra Pradesh providing endless opportunities to the candidates. The availability of the Application Form is as per on the scheduled date as announced by the examination conducting body.
The submission of the Application form is an important procedure which has to be followed by the candidate, they won’t be able to proceed with the admission procedure further. The Application Form has to be provided with the Personal Details, Academic Information, Contact details and uploading the photograph and the signature, the specification will be provided in the Information Brochure. The candidates must make sure that the details provided in the form are valid and correct as any form of misleading detail will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. These details are cross-checked with the original documents while at the time of the final admission. In case there are incorrect details, the aspirant cannot proceed with the admission procedure further. The final submission of the form is only after the payment of the Application fee. AP EDCET Admit Card 2019:
The Admit Card of AP EDCET 2019 is released in an online mode. The candidates who fill the Application Form are eligible to download the Admit card. AP EDCET Admit card is an important document. The candidate must bring the Admit Card on the examination day. The link of AP EDCET Admit Card 2019 will be made available as per on the scheduled date as announced by the examination conducting body. The aspirants will have to provide the details in the login section for downloading the Admit card. The document will not be accessible otherwise with the wrong details in the Login section. The presence of the Admit card provides validation to the candidate to appear for the exam.

AP EDCET Answer Key 2019:
The AP EDCET 2019 answer key shall be available on the website www.sche.ap.gov.in/edcet soon after the exam is conducted. The candidates who have successfully appeared for the entrance test will be able to download the Answer key. The availability of the Answer Key will be as per the dates as announced by the examination conducting body. The candidate has to provide the details in the login section. Once the Answer Key is available candidates will have to cross-check the answers as marked by them in the entrance exam as to the answer mentioned in the Answer Key. The Answer Key will help the candidate in estimating their marks.
Objection to AP EDCET Answer Key 2019: The examination conducting body will also be providing an opportunity to the candidates where they can submit an objection to the answer key. In case if the candidate finds any of the Answer marked in the Answer Key to be incorrect and they have the valid reason, they will be able to make an objection to the Answer key. The examination conducting body will provide a window to the candidates where they will have to submit their objection. Authorities release the correct Answer Key. The authorities do not receive any objections after the release of revised Answer Key.
AP EDCET Result 2019
AP EDCET Result will release in an Online mode. The Result is available on the official website. The candidates who will give the exam can check their result. It is important for the candidates that they must qualify the exam in order to proceed with the admission procedure further. The authorities will allot seats through counselling procedure. The link of AP EDCET will be released in an online mode and the candidates will have to enter the correct details, the Result will not be accessible otherwise.
The candidates must download the AP EDCET result 2019 and check if they have qualified the entrance exam or not. Issue of Notification
- The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will issue a notification in newspapers and place the details of counselling indicating the dates and ranks of the candidates to be attended for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for Exercising options and also notify the list of Help-line Centres in the designated website.
- Candidates who fail to report for Certificates verification will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the colleges.
The candidate has to be present at the designated Helpline centre on the designated date and get their documents verified.
Candidates should produce the following certificates:
- Hall ticket of AP EdCET
- Rank Card of AP EdCET
- SSC, Intermediate, Degree Marks Memo
- Study/ Bonafide Certificate for SEVEN academic years preceding the year of passing a qualifying examination
- Integrated Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable
- Residence certificate / Aadhar card proof of candidate/parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
- Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [ valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption).
PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
• Transfer Certificate.
• Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.
- After the verification process is done with, candidates will be given a login ID on their registered mobile number.
- Create a password using registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth on the official website https://apedcet.nic.in.
- Log in to the official website using the login ID, the above-mentioned credentials and the password you created for option entry.
- Use the OTP that you shall receive on successful login to enter the preferential choice number (option) for each college that you wish to join in case allotted.
- Select the maximum number of options you can and get a print out of the saved options.
Modification of Options and Freezing
The selected options can be changed any number of times during the allotted time.
- If after the allotted time is over, the candidate is yet not satisfied with the saved options, the authority shall give another opportunity to modify them.
- The seats shall be frozen after this and no further modifications can be done.
Final Allotments of Seats
The final allotment order is released on the web.
- Candidates must download the allotment letter and must report through a self-reporting system and also report at the allotted college.
- Note that both reporting through self-reporting system and reporting at college are important.
AP EDCET Seat Reservations
Admission to 85% of the seats in each methodology shall be reserved for the local candidates and 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions
