Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (earlier known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University) will be responsible for conducting AKTU 2020. The exam is also referred to as the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE). It is a state-level examination and qualifying it will thus provide admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. AKTU 2020 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain parameters which candidates have to fulfill in order to apply for the exam. These parameters are known as AKTU eligibility criteria. In contrast, applicants who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to apply and further take the exam. The different parameters are listed below:
- The candidate must be an Indian. NRI/ PIO/ OCI or Kashmiri Migrants can also apply
- There is no maximum age limit to apply for any of the courses.
- Appearing students can also apply for the UPSEE 2020 exam.
- General category aspirants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in the qualifying examination while SC/ ST category applicants must have obtained at least 40%

AKTU 2020 Application Form
A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University will release the online application form of AKTU 2020 on 23rd January 2020. The application form will be specifically available on the official portal. The eligible applicants have to fill the application form with personal, educational and communication details. After the details will be filled, the candidate has to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature. The images must be in a specified format as prescribed by the concerned authority. Interested students have to pay an application fee once the AKTU Application Form 2020 will be entirely filled. Further, the applications will be considered complete only after this payment and candidates will be allowed to submit their forms. The last date to fill the application form is 15th March 2020.
Application Fee
- Candidates who will be filing an application form of AKTU 2020 will be required to deposit a requisite application fee.
- This fee varies according to the category of applicants.
- The application has to be paid only via online phase through Net Banking, Credit card or Debit card.
- The application fee for Male/ Transgender candidates of General & OBC category will be Rs. 1300
- Whereas the application fee for Female, Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories, and SC/ ST candidates will be Rs. 650.
AKTU 2020 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket
The exam conducting body will eventually issue AKTU admit card for candidates who have successfully participated in the application process. The admit card will be available on the official website. The authority will not send the AKTU Hall Ticket 2020 vis post or mail to any individual. However, students have to download the admit card which will be generated on 20th April 2020.
The admit card of AKTU 2020 will comprise of several details related to an appearing applicant. It is used to verify the identity of an appearing aspirant. Hence the admit card is considered an important document. In addition, the AKTU 2020 hall ticket also contains details and some necessary guidelines related to the entrance exam. Thus, students are advised to check each and every detail imprinted on the admit card. Without an admit card, an individual will not be permitted entry inside the examination hall and further will be barred to take the exam.
AKTU Exam Pattern 2020
The candidate who desires to apply for the entrance exam must have knowledge regarding its examination pattern. Moreover, the AKTU 2020 exam pattern, let the candidates know about the different factors which include mode of exam, type of questions, marking scheme, etc. Refer below to know about this pattern:
- There will be a total of 11 papers that will be conducted under AKTU.
- The examination will be held in online as well as offline mode
- There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) except in the Drawing Aptitude test which is Part B of Paper 4.

- There will be no negative marking for an incorrect answer
- The question paper will be in Hindi and English languages.

AKTU 2020 Syllabus
The concerned authority has not yet released out the AKTU 2020 syllabus. Candidates are advised to visit the official portal on a regular basis to check it. The syllabus will also be prescribed in the official brochure. The authority will release the syllabus for each of the papers. The syllabus will cover topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants have to study the subjects as prepared for their previous qualifying examination.
AKTU Preparation Strategy

AKTU 2020 Answer Key
The university will publish a preliminary AKTU Answer Key first for candidates who have appeared in the exam. With the help of an answer, applicants can predict their score and estimate their performance. An answer key will contain the correct responses to the questions that will be asked in an exam.
Candidates will also be able to challenge the preliminary answer key of AKTU 2020 by paying a certain amount of fee. Moreover, the authority will then accept all the challenges and further release a new and final one.
AKTU 2020 Result
Applicants will be able to access and view the AKTU 2020 result from the official website. The result will be available in the first week of June tentatively via online mode. Result of AKTU 2020 will display the overall score, subject wise score, and qualifying status. Along with the result, the authority will release the AKTU 2020 merit list for each of the courses. The merit list will place the names of students based on their rank.
AKTU 2020 Cutoff
The minimum qualifying marks required by an applicant in an entrance examination is known as the AKTU 2020 Cut-off. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University will be responsible for releasing out the cutoff. Applicants who will be scoring equivalent to or above the cutoff will be further called to attend the counselling and seat allotment process. The cutoff percentage of marks as per UP State Government order required by an individual in AKTU 2020 examination varies according to the category. For General category candidates the cut off which they need to satisfy will be 25% while for SC/ ST candidates it will be 20% for SC/ ST. AKTU Cutoff 2020 will depend on a number of factors:
- Total number of candidates who have applied for the exam
- Total number of applicants who have taken the examination
- The difficulty level of the exam
- Total number of seats available for granting admission
- And finally, the trends in the previous year cutoff.
AKTU Counselling 2020
All the qualified students of the entrance exam who will satisfy the cutoff will be called to attend the AKTU 2020 counselling. The counselling will be organized by the university depending upon the merit of candidates. At the time of counselling, seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of availability of seat in a category and preferred choice of seats. After the allotment, students have to report at the allocated centre for verification of documents. Once the verification will be over, the final seat allotment will be done. In order to confirm the allotted seat, candidates have to pay a seat acceptance counselling fee. This fee will not be refunded under any circumstance.
