UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) 2018 is a state level entrance examination, that will be conducted on 29th April 2018 and on 5th and 6th May 2018. The exam will contain objective type questions (MCQs) and is divided in the offline and online mode based on the type of paper that the candidate is opting. The candidate can opt for papers conducted in different exam centers, the list of which has been given in our previous article UPSEE 2018 Important dates.

NOTE: Paper 1,2,3,4 will be OMR based tests (offline) and Paper 5,6,7,8,9,10,11 will be computer-based test (online).

Marking Scheme of UPSEE 2018

  1. For the objective type of answers in OMR based tests, candidates are required to mark only one answer against each question carefully in the OMR sheets provided at the exam center using a ballpoint pen (black or blue only)
  2. Every MCQ will carry 4 marks each for every correct answer. Giving multiple answers to the same question will be deemed incorrect and no marks will be awarded for that question.
  3. There will be no negative marking for UPSEE 2018.

UPSEE 2018 is conducted by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University and sometimes also referred to as AKTU Entrance exam. It is held once in a year for admission to various undergraduate courses like B.Tech, B. Arch, B. Pharm, BHMCT, MCA, MBA, BFAD, BFA and 2nd-year B.Tech, B. Pharm and MCA(lateral entry).

Lakhs of students in the state of Uttar Pradesh and outside the state register themselves for the exam and over thousands of students qualify it. To take UP State entrance exam, it is necessary for the candidates to go through the official brochure that will be made available on https://upsee.nic.in. The brochure can either be downloaded or printed.
