KEAM Result 2018 – Kerala Entrance Architecture Medical Exam Result had been announced by CEE Kerela in online mode on 22nd May 2018. By logging to the result portal of the official website, candidates could check the KEAM 2018 result to know their scores. To access the KEAM 2018 result, applicants need to enter valid application number and password. On 20th June 2018, KEAM 2018 Rank list has been announced in online mode. On the basis of class 12 marks and KEAM Score, the rank of the individual candidate will be determined by the admission committee.

KEAM 2018 Result Date

All candidates planning to take the exam must know the exam related details which are given in the table below:

KEAM Result 2018

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala had published the KEAM 2018 results in online mode on the official website www.cee-kerala.org on 22nd May 2018. The KEAM Result 2018 carried the qualifying marks of the candidate along with the score obtained by him/her in Paper 1 and Paper 2 that were conducted on 23rd and 24th April 2018. These two factors helped in the preparation of the KEAM 2018 merit list. Every candidate who has taken the exam had to click on the KEAM 2018 Result link and enter his/her application number and password to view and download the CEE Result.

While preparing a rank list, equal weightage will be given to the 10+2 qualifying marks and the marks score by the candidate in the exam. Candidates must take multiple prints of the result and keep it safely for future preferences.

How to check and download KEAM Result 2018?

2. click on the KEAM Result link (the link will be provided here as soon as it is released)
3. A login page will appear. Enter your application number and password.
4. Click on “submit”.
5. KEAM 2018 result will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download and take multiple print of the result for future use.

Information on KEAM Result 2018

KEAM Result 2018 for engineering course was published in the online mode on 22nd May 2018. It determines whether a candidate has performed well in the exam or not. The following details will be displayed on the scorecard:

• Candidate’s Name
• Exam roll number/ application number
• category of the candidate
• Marks obtained in KEAM 2018
• KEAM 2018 qualifying marks

Qualifying Marks for KEAM 2018

KEAM Rank List has been prepared after the announcement of KEAM Result 2018. For a candidate to qualify and obtain a rank, he/she must obtain at least 10 marks in each paper i.e. in Paper 1 and Paper 2. If the candidate scores less than the prescribed marks, then he/she will not be eligible for seat allotment. Last year around ninety thousand candidates appeared for the exam and at least seventy thousand students qualified it and were enlisted in the KEAM 2017 rank list.

Please note that the above-mentioned criteria are only for candidates belonging to all the candidates except those belonging to the SC and ST category. There are no minimum qualifying marks for Students belonging to the SC/ST category. They must, however, answer 1 question in each Paper, failing which the whole candidature will be canceled.

KEAM Rank List 2018

The KEAM 2018 result carries score obtained by the applicants in the KERALA CEE Entrance Exam, the combined score of both Papers I and II. Applicants who clear the KEAM 2018 had to submit their 12^thstandard qualifying exam mark sheet or equivalent for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology. These scores were used to prepare the rank list of KEAM 2018 where equal weightage was given to marks obtained in KEAM 2018 (Paper I and Paper II) and 12^th standard qualifying examination marks. A standardization procedure will be followed by the authorities to prepare the rank list.

Tie-breaking policy

If two or more candidates secure the same marks, a tie-breaking policy will be used which will be based on the below-given conditions in the order of preference:

• Candidate with Higher marks in KEAM 2018 will be placed higher.
• Candidate obtaining higher marks in Physics will be given preference
• If the tie still persists, then the higher marks in mathematics in the qualifying examination will be considered.
• If the deadlock of marks still exists, then the candidate who is older in terms of age will be given preference over the other.

KEAM Counselling 2018

Applicants can appear in the counselling process according to their rank. KEAM 2018 counselling will be organized online through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Qualified Applicants have to fill their choices of courses and colleges during the counselling process. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of rank, category, filled choices and availability of seats. After the seat allotment is over, candidates have to report to the allotted college for further admission process.

KEAM Cut Off 2018

The cut-off refers to the minimum marks that are required to be eligible for counselling. Sometimes, cut-off also refers to the opening and closing rank. The KEAM 2018 cut-off will be released after each round of counselling. It will consist of minimum marks that a candidate needs to obtain in order to avail the admission in the institutes participating in KEAM 2018. KEAM cut-off will also have an opening and closing rank of these institutes, category-wise and branch-wise. The cut-off will be prepared based on certain factors like marks obtained in KEAM 2018, the difficulty level of the examination, previous years’ cut-off and the number of candidates giving the exam.
