JEE Main IIIT Kottayam Cutoff: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam (IIT Kottayam or IIITK) is situated at Valavoor, Palai, Kottayam District, Kerala. It is an autonomous Engineering Institute that was established in the year 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The institute is fully funded and operated by the Government of India, the Government of Kerala, and the Industry partner. IIIT Kottayam was declared as an Institute of National Importance in the year 2017 by IIIT PPP Bill 2017.

The institute started its academic session in June 2015 from the temporary campus of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kerala, and was mentored by NIT Calicut. But then in January 2019, IIITK moved to its permanent campus.

IIIT Kottayam admits candidates into B.Tech – M.S dual degree program and Ph.D. courses in Computer Science & Engineering. The admission is provided on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Main and in class 12th board exams. There are a total of 90 seats that are available for admission in the institute under Computer Science and Engineering.
