JEE Main IIIT Allahabad Cutoff 2025: The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad abbreviated as IIIT Allahabad or IIITA was established in the year 1999. It was accorded the status of  ‘The University in the year 2000 by the Government of India. Also, the institute was declared as an Institute of National Importance on 1st December 2014.

IIIT Allahabad offers two branches of B.Tech program under in which applicants can take admission and they are:

  • Information Technology
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering

There are a total of 300 seats which are allotted to candidates under each branch for admitting applicants. The institute grants admission to those who satisfy the IIIT Allahabad Cutoff by scoring well in exams.

IIIT Allahabad Admission

Candidates are admitted to the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad on the basis of any of the following modes:

  • Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main examination and secured a valid rank.
  • Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored 75% in class 12th exams and candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have scored 65%.
  • The candidate must be among the top 20 percentiles of class 12th board exams.

IIIT Allahabad Cutoff

The minimum marks that decide the eligibility of the candidate for admission is known as the IIIT Allahabad Cutoff. The cutoff consists of opening and closing ranks and the eligibility for admission depends on these ranks. Applicants are advised to score equal to or above the prescribed cut-off in order to have higher chances of getting admission. The cutoff is released by the admission authority on the official website of IIITA. The concerned authority releases the cutoff separately for each of the categories and branches of the B.Tech course. The Cutoff of IIIT Allahabad is affected by various factors which include the following reasons:

  • The total number of candidates applying for admission
  • The total number of available seats for admission
