The AP EAMCET is a common entrance test, designated as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance test conducted in the state of Andhra Pradesh in a computer-based mode. The exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Kakinada, for entry into courses like engineering, biotechnology, B.Tech (diary technology), B. Tech (agriculture engineering), Tech (food, science and Technology), B. Sc (agriculture), B. Sc (horticulture), B.V.Sc and A.H, B.F.Sc, B pharmacy and Pharma D.

The AP EAMCET will be conducted in the 4th week of April 2018. after the declaration of the results, a cut-off will be released. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that are required to clear an examination. It determines whether a candidate is eligible for the admission procedure or not. For AP EAMCET, candidates can check the cut-off online which will be released by JNTU on behalf of APSCHE. The cut-off will be a determinant of the merit list that will be prepared for candidates who will further be called for counselling.

Qualifying Marks For AP EAMCET 2018
The AP EAMCET qualifying marks for the academic session 2018-19 are 25% marks of the total marks which means that a candidate needs to score 40 marks out of the total 160. There are no qualifying marks that have been prescribed by JNTU for the reserved category of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled tribe. But these candidates will be given admission only to the extension of seat reservation.
The AP EAMCET 2018 Cut-Off will be released by exam conducting authority after the declaration of the results. Those who have scored equal to or more than the cut-off will be called for the counselling and seat-allotment procedure. Those who score lower than the qualifying marks will be automatically disqualified from the admission process. He/she will have to give the same examination next year.

- Rank given for AP EAMCET will be valid for the academic session of 2018-19.
- Candidates will be ranked in the order of the merit.
- Rank given on the merit basis of the SC/ST qualifying marks at AP EAMCET 2018 will be canceled if the documents are found invalid.
