Joint Entrance Examination Main 2018 is a national level examination conducted for engineering. It is going to be conducted in the offline mode on 8th April 2018 and in online mode on 15th and 16th April 2018. However, While downloading the admit card, a candidate may face problems if there is any mismatch in the name entered and the name provided in board documents. The problem in downloading the admit card may also arise from the use of incorrect user name and password. If any such discrepancies arise, candidates can avail the correction facility that will be provided on the website tentatively on or after March 20, 2018. How to Resolve JEE Main 2018 Admit Card Issues
Lost User-ID, date of birth, password – The problem of losing login credentials usually occurs when the applicant uses the wrong email ID and forgets the same while downloading the admit card. Losing the application form confirmation page will lead to the problem of not being able to download the admit card for the exam. Therefore, it is advisable that the candidate provide the correct email-ID at the time of applying and also save the confirmation page to avoid any problems.
Application form not accepted – The rejection of an application by the exam conducting authority is due to the wrong information provided by the candidate at the time of form filling. CBSE rejects those application forms where the information entered does not match with the rules/ guidelines set by the Board, especially the date of birth. Therefore, applicants must provide the correct details at the time of form filling.
Incorrect application credentials – Most students commit the mistakes of filling the wrong application credentials while logging in. They either enter the wrong application number or do not copy the security pin correctly. The security pin or Captcha code is case sensitive and the candidate must be very careful while entering both the details.
Incorrect photograph on application form – While filling up the JEE Main 2018 Application form every candidate has to upload the scanned image of their photograph in JPEG/JPG format and in the dimension 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm. If the image if the photograph is not uploaded to the correct specification, the Board will reject the application form.
Slow Internet Speed – There may be a problem in downloading the Admit Card of JEE main 2018 due to low Internet speed. In such cases, candidates must make sure that they have a fast Internet connection or are connected to other Internet devices to avoid any problem while downloading the admit card.
Forgot User-ID and password – In case, the candidate has forgotten the User ID and password, he/she can follow the below-given process to retrieve the lost credentials:
- Log in to the Admit card page.
- Click on I can’t access my JEE Main admit card
- You will be redirected to “Forgot application number page”
- Now, enter their name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, date of birth, state of eligibility and security pin to access their application number and password.
- As an alternative, the candidate can also answer a security question and the verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS. He/she can set a new user-ID and password through the link sent on the registered email-ID.
