Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is conducted exclusively for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). It is a common entrance examination which is conducted annually by any one of the organizing IITs. Only those candidates who qualify the JEE Main will be able to take the JEE Advanced. Candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced will get admission to IITs. JEE Advanced is considered as one of the toughest exams in the world. Lakhs of students take this exam every year and only thousands of them qualify it.

JEE Advanced 2018 will be organized under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). Candidates who qualify the exam will be able to get admission to bachelor’s degree programme offered in 22 IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.

JEE Advanced 2018 Updates
The exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode on May 20th, 2018 i.e Sunday. There will be 2 papers in the examination and both will be compulsory to attempt. Paper 1 will be conducted in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 will be conducted in the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. For the year 2018, 2,24,000 candidates will be able to sit for JEE Advanced. There has been an addition of 4000 candidates as earlier only 2,20,000 eligible candidates could take the JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2018 Participating Institutes are those institutes that give admission to their institutes based on the score obtained by the candidate in Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced. These participating institutes include 22 IITs and ISM Dhanbad. These will together offer 10,572 B.Tech seats for students appearing JEE Advanced 2018.
