Uttarakhand B. Tech Admissions 2018: Uttarakhand Technical University has started the second phase of Uttarakhand B.Tech 2018 Counselling from June 26 and will continue till July 10. The seat allotment result for the second round will be released on July 5. The counselling of Uttarakhand B.Tech 2018 is being held in three rounds. The first round of Uttarakhand B.Tech counselling 2018 was concluded on June 16. Only registered candidates will be able to participate in the Uttarakhand B.Tech Counselling 2018 process. Candidates having valid JEE Main 2018 Ranks can apply for undergraduate B.Tech programmes across the state engineering colleges through Uttarakhand B. Tech Admissions 2018. 

 Today (2nd July 2018) is the last day for payment of fees, online registration, and choice filling. The link has been provided below.

Uttarakhand B. Tech Counselling Date

Counselling Procedure

All the participating candidates of Uttarakhand B. tech counselling 2018 can check the steps given below. Candidates have to register themselves in order to attend the Counselling. They will have to register themselves on the official website. 

Candidates have to provide all the necessary documents for the documentation process. The documents should be valid because in case the authorities find any documents unmatched or wrong, candidate’s candidature will be canceled.

Payment of the Counselling Fee:

Candidates have to deposit a counselling fee. The non-refundable counseling fee of Rs.2000/- has to be paid during 2nd round of counseling from 26th June to 2nd July 2018. In order to deposit the above-mentioned fee, candidates visit the above given link. After successfully payment of counseling fees the student is advised to take print out of receipt for further use.

Registration and Choice filling:

After the payment of Counseling fee, the candidate has to open the counseling website (http://ukcounseling.nic.in) and has to go to “New Registration” option for registration. Carefully read the instructions given on the “Candidate’s Agreement” section and select the “I Agree” to continue.

Now, the Candidates can fill their choices in order of their preferences of Institutes and Courses available. Candidates having Uttarakhand Domicile and opted for “Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme” at the time of registration have to select the seats earmarked under TFW in addition to normal seats at the time of submission of their choices, otherwise they won’t be allotted any seats under TFW quota. Candidates are advised to fill as many choices as they want and it is in the interest of the candidates to fill maximum available choices so that they can get a seat of their choice

Allotment of seat:

Aspirants will be informed about their allotted college or course via SMS in their registered phone number. Seat Allotment is based on the choices submitted by the candidates. After the “online Registration & Choices filling” period is over in the 2nd round, i.e. on 2nd July 2018 (till 12.00 midnight), the filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered and the seats will be allotted as per the merit/Rankings and respective categories/sub-categories of the candidates, the choices opted by the candidates in order of their preferences and availability of seats under various Institutes/Branches under All-India & State Quota respectively. 

Reporting:

The process of reporting the candidates at allotted Institutes/Colleges is also ONLINE and is to be carried out by the respective Institutes/Colleges. Candidates are required to report at allotted Institutes/Colleges within the specified period i.e. from 6th to 10th July 2018 along with necessary admission fees and all the eligibility documents/testimonials/certificates (as listed in their provisional letter or on the basis of which they want to take admission). The Institute/College will verify all the necessary documents of the candidates physically.

Edit Registration: Candidates who want to edit or recorrect their registration option will opt for this option.

Available Choices: It describes the total number of seats available in the institutes/branches.

Fill Choices: The choosing of the of their preferred courses or institutes will be done here.

Filled Choices: Candidates who have chosen their options are displayed here. Candidates can lock or unlock the choices according to their needs.

Allotment Letter: The Provisional allotment letter forwarded by the Authorities.

Logout: This option is for logging out from the page. It is advised to close the window after logging out from the page.
