Uttarakhand Technical University conducts Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) every year in the month of May for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programme in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Business Administration. Through this exam students get enrolled to the colleges/Institutes in the state Uttarakhand. This article will guide the aspirants of UKSEE 2018 on how to apply for the test.

The UKSEE 2018 Application form had been released on the 14th of April 2018. The candidates can submit the same till 30th April 2018. Click here to fill the application form.

Application form for Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) for 2018 was released in the 2nd week of April 2018. Candidates can apply for UKSEE via online mode only. Students can access the application form via the official website. Applicants are instructed to know the eligibility criteria required to get enrolled in the particular courses. If a candidate wants to apply for more then one courses, then he/she can do so by filling up the application form separately. However, the login ID will remain same. Aspirants have to fill up the application form in the month of April 2018, however, the entrance examination will be conducted in May 2018.

This is the first and foremost step to apply for the examination. Applicants need to visit the official website of  Uttarakhand Technical University i.e uktech.ac.in. On the homepage, click on the “UKSEE 2018” option. On clicking, the registration page will open. Candidates are required to enter the following details:-

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Category
• Mobile Number
• Email- ID

UKSEE Application Form Filling

Candidates need to login by entering the username and password in order to fill up the application form. They need to enter the details like personal information, academic qualification, choice of course and communication address.

Some of the details required to fill are mentioned below :-

• Date of Birth
• Age
• Gender
• Nationality
• Resident State
• Category
• Communication Address
• Details of academic qualification starting form class 10.
• Select course according to the choice.
• Applicants need to choose course of their choice.
• Select one exam centers from the drop down list.

After entering all the details correctly, click on the “Submit” button.

Uploading of Photograph

After entering the all the general information, candidates need to upload the scanned image of the photograph as per the specification given below :-

• A photograph of minimum 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate taken after 01-01-2018.
• A caption indicating name of candidate and date of taking photograph should be there at the bottom of photo.
• Photograph should be taken in a white/very light coloured background.
• The photograph needs to display full front view of the face. Please look directly into the camera with a natural expression.
• Please avoid with reflection of shadow on the face with red eyes.
• The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions.
• The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone.
• The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.

Payment of Application Fee

After uploading the photograph, applicants had to pay the application fee. Amount to pay as application fee for UKSEE 2018 depends on the category of the candidate. Application fee varies for the different category of the candidates. The application fee for all the categories is provided in the table below

Submission of Application form

Candidates are instructed to check all the details entered carefully before the final submission. If the applicants need to make changes in any field, they can do so by clicking on the “Previous ” button otherwise click on the “Submit” option.

Printout of Application Form

After the submission of all the details, a preview page of filled up application form along with the photograph uploaded will appear on the screen. Applicants are advised to download and take the print out of the same for future use.

Correction of UKSEE Application Form 2018

Request for change/edit in any field in the application form will not be entertained under any circumstances once it is submitted. So, candidates are advised to enter the details carefully while filling up the application form.

Examination Center for UKSEE 2018

The Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination will be conducted across various center in India. Candidate needs to choose one examination centre as per their choice from the list given below while filling up the application form according to their suitability. Examination centre chosen will be mentioned on the admit card. The test will be conducted for a couple of days across some selected centre.
