RULET 2019

RULET 2019: Rajasthan University is one of the oldest universities in India. Established in 1947,  this university conducts Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test (RULET) every year in order to provide admission to students in BA LLB (offered by the varsity’s affiliated colleges and BA LLB (Hons) (offered by University Five Year Law College) courses. The total number of seat available is 120. This article will provide information regarding the overall procedure to get admission into RU BA LLB (Bachelor of Laws) programmes for the academic year 2019-2020.

Colleges accepting RULET scores for admission in BA LLB and BA LLB (Hons) courses are the University Five Year Law College (the constituent college of Rajasthan University) and varsity’s other affiliated colleges such as:

• Vidhyasthali Law College, Jaipur
• SS Jain Subodh Law College, Jaipur
• St Wilfred’s Law College, Jaipur

Important Dates Regarding RULET 2019

The examination conducting body will release the dates for 2019 session. Go through the tentative schedule mentioned in the tabular format below in order to avoid an important even related to the admission to the course. The officially released dates will be available here as soon as they are announced by the authorities of the University.

RULET Eligibility Criteria 2019:

The admission into the five year BA LLB programme will be granted only if the applicant possesses the below-mentioned eligibility criteria and qualify the entrance exam. However, the interested candidate has to fill up the application form to attend the RULET 2019. Aspirants must be aware of the eligibility criteria before going to apply for RULET 2019.

RULET Application Form 2019

The application form for RULET 2019 will be released tentatively in the month of August 2019. Before filling up the application form and sending it to authority, candidates must check the above-mentioned eligibility criteria.

To apply for RULET 2019, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Click on the link given at the top of this page. Download the application form and take the printout of the same within the scheduled date.

Step 2: Fill up the application form carefully. Do not leave any blank in the form.

Step 3: Make a Demand Draft (DD) of amount Rs.2000/- in favour of  “Convener, RULET, University of Rajasthan” payable at Jaipur.

Step 4: Enclosed the Photocopy of mark sheet of class 12 examinations must be enclosed with application form who has already passed the lass c12 examinations. Document of seat reservation must be submitted (if applicable) along with hard copy of application form. If the document of reservation is not submitted, he/she will be considered as a general category candidate.

Step 5: Send the filled application form along with DD, and other important documents via post to the Department of Law, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur before the deadline.

RULET  Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2019

The official examination authority will dispatch the admit card for RULET 2019 via post in the third week of May 2019 to the registered candidates. If a candidate does not receive the Hall Ticket, then he/ she must contact the office of convener within the scheduled date. If the admit card is lost or torn, so, in that case, candidates must submit the following documents in order to obtain the duplicate one

1. One photo ID of the candidate
2. One photograph same as affixed on the admission form
3. Receipt of admission form

The RULET 2019 admit card will carry details like the name of the candidate, roll number, date and time of the exam and complete address of the exam centre. Admit card should be carried on the day of the exam.

RULET  Exam Pattern 2019

Exam pattern gives the applicants an idea about the mode of exam, duration, subjects and marking scheme. Candidates are advised to be well acquainted with RULET 2019 exam pattern in order to make the preparation more effective. To know the exam pattern of RULET 2019, look at the table given below:

Selection Procedure:

The written examination will be followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview (G.D. and P.I.) of 100 marks. The final result will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test, G.D. & P.I. (out of 300 marks). In case of equal marks, the admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination

RULET Answer Key 2019

The Answer Key of RULET 2019 will be made available on the official website of the University. RULET Answer Key 2019 will be released after the successful conduction of the entrance test. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test, in order to evaluate their performance in the exam can download the Answer key and cross-check the answers marked by them in the test to the answers mentioned in the Answer Key.

Candidates will also be provided with an opportunity of objecting the answers in the Answer Key if they find them to be incorrect but it should be noted that the window for objection to the Answer Key will only be opened only for the definite time period and after that, no objections will be entertained. The Revised and edited Answer Key will be the final one released on the website.

RULET Result 2019

The result list will include the marks obtained by the candidate, roll number and name. Candidates will have to provide the essential credentials in the login section in order to download the result successfully. The Result of RULET 2019 is available in an online mode and there will be no other way of accessing it. Candidates who will qualify the entrance test will be eligible to proceed for the admission procedure further. It should be noted that merely qualifying the entrance test will not assure the admission to the course and the final admission will only be through the Counselling Procedure.

RULET Cut-off 2019

The official authority shall release RULET 2019 Cut-off within a week after the declaration of result. Candidates who obtain more than or equal to the cut-off of the RULET 2019, they will be eligible to be part of the subsequent round. His/ her name will appear in the merit list. It will be important for the candidates to go through the Cut Off marks and check whether they will be able to qualify the entrance exam or not. The Cut Off list will mention the minimum of the marks to be secured by the candidate in the entrance test. The preparation of the Cut off list will depend on the overall score secured by the candidate in the entrance exam and the number of the candidates appearing in the exam.

RULET 2019 Merit List

The merit list contains names of the candidates who successfully score equal to or more than cut-off marks in the test. The candidates who will be able to acquire a place in the Merit List of RULET 2019 will be eligible to proceed for the Counselling Procedure further. Candidates whose name will be mentioned in the Merit List will be provided with the seat allotment letter on the provided Email Address. The selection of the candidates in the Merit List will be on the basis of the marks secured in the test and the overall rank achieved by the candidate. The Merit List will be made available on the official website and candidates will have to look for their Name and Roll number in order to check their position in the list.

RULET Counselling 2019

The official examination conducting authority will conduct the counselling in multiple rounds tentatively after the merit list is prepared. The complete counselling schedule will be available on the website. The candidates have to report at the scheduled venue along with the following list of the document for verification.

1. Marks sheet/grade sheet of qualifying examination along with four self-attested photocopies.
2. Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.
3. Proof of Date of Birth.
4. Five recent colour passport size photograph.
5. Documents in support of Special Categories (if applicable).

RULET Seat Allotment 2019

The shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats based on the merit and choice of study opted by them. Candidates can check their seat allotment by logging in to the official website. It is a must for a candidate, who will be allotted seat, to print and download provisional allotment letter. To confirm the seat, candidates will have to pay the admission fee which would mean that they have accepted the seat allotted to them. The print out of admission fee receipt must be taken after the payment.

Seat Reservation in RULET

If a candidate is willing to get admission in under reserved category then they will have to follow RULET 2019 reservation criteria. The reservation criteria of  RULET 2019 include some specific guidelines which every candidate should be aware of before filling up the application form. The official authority will offer few seats for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC and PwD out of the total seat intake.
