The NEET PG Entrance Exam 2019 was conducted yesterday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm across 165 cities. But, the exam was postponed for the Jammu and Kashmir students due to inclement weather conditions. Looking at this condition, the National Board of Examinations had released a Public Notice on 6th January 2019.

The National Board of Examinations has taken up this matter to the Medical Council of India and Government of Jammu and Kashmir. The Conducting Examination Body has committed to give an opportunity to the candidates who were not able to reach the designated examination center. The Board will conduct a separate examination for these affected candidates. The National Board of Examinations will announce the new dates on their official website.
The Examination was conducted in 165 cities and an approx. of 1, 48, 000 candidates has appeared the exam. The Date and Time of the Re-Examination has not been announced yet and will be soon informed to the candidates in time. Since, the Entrance Examination was a Computer Based Test and was held in a single session only, no candidates from other state or region will be allowed to appear the exam.

Also, the National Board of Examinations will release a new admit card for the students who were unable to reach the Examination Center due to the hostile weather condition. The Authentic Information will be soon declared on the official website of National Board of Examinations.
NEET PG Exam is a valid Post Graduate Entrance Examination excluding AIIMS and JIPMER. The exam offers admission in various Post Graduate Programs such as MS, MD, and PG Diploma Programmes. The Entrance Examination is conducted by the National Board of Examinations once in a year and the Medical Counselling Committee will conduct the Counselling Round of NEET PG 2019.
