GUJCET 2018 Results: GSEB (Gujarat State Education Board) has released GUJCET Result 2018 in online mode on 10th May 2018 in online mode. GSEB had also released  the marks sheets of students along with the GUJCET 2018 Results. Candidates could either download their GUJCET 2018 Marks Sheet online or physically collect them from the respective district offices of GSEB. To check GSEB GUJCET Results 2018 applicants had to enter their valid 6 digit seat number. GUJCET 2018 Result will ensure the candidate’s eligibility to participate in the GSEB counselling procedures. After the successful conduct of the GUJCET 2018 exam, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, official examination conducting authority had declared the GUJCET Results 2018 online. GUJCET 2018 Result was declared within one month of the conduct of the entrance exam. Candidates could check the result by visiting the GSEB official website which is expected to be available in the month of June 2018.

Steps to check the GSEB GUJCET 2018 Result

1. Go to the Gujarat State Education Board official website www.gseb.org
2. Click on the link “GUJCET 2018 Result” on the Homepage of GSEB Website.
3. GUJCET Result Screen will come: Enter your roll number and date of birth.
4. Click on the submit button to check your result
5. After filling in the correct details, your GUJCET result along with the scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
6. You can download the result along with the scorecard and take the printout of the same for the further use.

GUJCET 2018 Merit List

After the announcement of the GUJCET Result 2018, the official authority had released the provisional merit list on 13th June 2018. The GSEB Gujcet Merit list is prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates and scores obtained in the GUJCET 2018 written examination. It will be prepared on the basis of the following factors:-

• The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the boards mentioned in the eligibility criteria, the sum of sixty percentage weightage of the percentile marks obtained in the written examination (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and forty percentage of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET 2018 exam.

In case the percentile marks are not available from any of the boards, two separate merit lists will be prepared by the GSEB:

• The first GUJCET Result 2018 merit list includes the names of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized boards and for which, the percentile is available. The merit list is prepared with 60% weightage of the percentile marks obtained in PCM, which will be combined with 40% of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET 2018 exam.
• The second GUJCET Result 2018 merit list includes the names of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the board for which the percentile is not available. The merit list is prepared with 60% weightage of marks obtained in PCM, after covering it to 100 combines with the 40% of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET 2018 exam.

GSEB Gujcet Result – Tie Breaking policy

The criteria for deciding the GUJCET Result 2018 merit list in case of the candidates have equal scores, will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination in the following sequence namely:

1. Maths and Physics
2. Maths and Chemistry
3. Physics and Chemistry
4. Maths
5. Physics
6. Chemistry and English
7. Aggregate Marks

GSEB Gujcet 2018 Result Cut Off

GUJCET Cut Off 2018 consist of closing ranks a candidate has to secure to get admission under GSEB. The cutoff of GUJCET 2018 will vary for different categories of the candidates, institute and the field of engineering.
