BITS HD Counselling 2018, Counselling Dates, Procedure, Seat Allotment

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science will organize Entrance Examination for the candidates who seek to take Admission in the campuses of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa for M.E/M.Pharma/Mba courses. Interested candidates will have to apply and register themselves with BITS HD. The objective of this Examination to give a recognition to the deserving candidates and provide them the best education. The BITS campuses have 26 programmes for the candidates. The candidates who want to apply should first check the eligibility criteria and also check if they full fill the eligibility criteria for the Examination. Forms of the ineligible candidates will not be accepted by the Authorities. Before the Examination, the candidates have to issue their Admit card without which the Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the Examination. The candidates have to book the slots for them as per their preferences. The Examination will be held online and the candidates are expected to have minimum knowledge of the computer basics. They should be at least familiar with the handling of keyboard and mouse.

The counselling will be held just after a few days after the result is being announced. Candidates are called in the counselling on the basis of the marks they have scored in the Examination. The counselling will be taken place for 26 programmes at the different campuses of BITS. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores of the shortlisted candidates. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of availability, ranks scored by the candidates and category that the candidates belong. After the candidates are allotted with the seats, they have to report to the prescribed colleges and universities they are allotted. Candidates will be given an offer letter via online mode. They also have to take all the documents for the verification.

Important Dates

The candidates have to keep all the information related to the Examination and the Admission. They should follow all the notifications notified by the Authorities. Therefore the candidates are advised to keep a note on all the dates related to the counselling. Once the candidates miss the counselling will not be entertained for the next time. The seat will be allotted to the next deserving candidates if the candidates fail to report on the specified date and time. The table below is the list of important dates:

BITS HD Counselling Procedure

The candidates will have to go through a proper procedure for the Counselling. The candidates have to be physically present on the day of counselling. The counselling will be defined an unsuccessful if the candidates fail to present themselves in person there. The steps that the candidates have to follow to get the Admission in the campuses of BITS are:

1. Shortlisted candidates will be sent an offer letter online which they need to download it online
2. Candidates then have to report to the allotted campuses on the specified date and time .
3. They have to carry their valid documents which will be verified by the Examination Authorities in the campus.
4. After the verification of the candidate’s documents, the candidates have to pay their Admission Fees. Failing to pay the Admission fee the counselling will be termed as unsuccessful.
